She should have went to a local Chinese food take out restaurant and ordered all the food she wanted for at least $25 bucks and would have saved hundreds

Nearly every episode shows an Asian not declaring any food and bringing in LOTS of items they know aren’t allowed into the country. The fines need to be increased. Have respect for the country into which you are traveling.
Australia is really strict w bringing in outside plants/animals bc they don't want to introduce invasive species or diseases to their country. Australia has a unique ecology, so their native species are more vulnerable to threats from non-native species.
Cooked food doesn’t bring in a species lol this woman is enforcing a law in the broadest way even though this isn’t what the law was ever for. Cooked food doesn’t harm your precious ecosystem of dirt and bugs

You don't obey the rules, you don't get to enter the country
They still enter but the food is confiscated and destroyed. They also pay the fine.
@SharonRepici she's a student. She's not a first timer. She knows the rules. They should revoke her entry

This is crazy. Cooked homemade food in a reused package is a threat?
Mainly because of bugs that could be traveling in the food they can’t really see eggs and we want to reduce the spread of invasive bug species
