As I mention in the video, a buddy of mine wanted to see how I do my own haircut and figure there may be one or two others out there looking for the same bit of info so here ya go!
Lol. And yet I got 52 subscribers out of it… I never expected this to hit 20k views. I wasn’t kidding when I literally thought this was the best way to show a buddy how I did it and maybe a few others, but dang!
"There's a lever on the side, I don't really know what it does" finally, someone as clueless as me. Hopefully this will help me in future, I like it longer on top but never cared for pansy boy perfect fades with the back and sides, just trim and neat like this.
The lever is a difference between shorter and longer cuts. I don't remember why but they go in different directions when cutting hair. But you did a pretty damn good job! And I agree works alot better then paying 20 a pop for haircuts. Being a single mom I've learned to cut my son's hair. I gotta work on fading but like I said your really good at it. 👍
Thank you for the video. No offense, but your accent reminds me to a great fellow , he was an actor from the 60s , Slim Pickens… Have a great day and greetings from Switzerland
Great haircut, I cut.mine similar, I use (small #1 guard bottom of side/ then reg.#1 guard on rest of side and then #2 guard on the top) I do it once a week.just like the marines do.lol I'm 62 years old, I've been doing my own haircuts for 20+ years , first a flat top haircut, then a high and tight GI fade. With a WAHL.clipper from Walmart, Thank you for your service.
Give it a shot...as I mentioned if you mess it up just buzz it and try again a couple weeks later! I’ve saved a ton after doing it like so for the better part of the last decade!
@@randomtexan6394 Wish I could, but I don't think I could. I have a torn rotator cuff in my right shoulder and can't maneuver my right arm behind my head. Sadly. But I wish I could do it.
I am gonna start cutting my own hair this upcoming weekend I am aiming for this style mine is a bit easier because I do not fade but messing up the line is what worries me most.
The end was hilarious 😂😂

Call me stupid but I always tried to stick the hand mirror behind my neck, much easier to turn around and have the small one in front of you, duh
Looks awesome man. 💪
Self haircut is freedom itself.
Thanks. This video was exactly what I was looking for Simple and easy 👍
Glad I could be of service.
I agree that a short haircut is freedom!
As a former military barber I can say you did a great job. Followed Army regs to the letter..
With that credential I suppose that’d be about the best compliment I can get on here. Thanks!

This actually helped me a lot and that ending had me laughing too hahaha.
Should have seen this before messing my sons hair up, but like you said I’ll give it another shot in a couple of weeks lol
Lol. I’ve certainly messed it up a time or two, but it was free.99 versus $15-$20!
Great video Sir, and one of the top 2 on short haircuts for me!
exactly what I was looking for ty
Best haircut for ANY guy....
This is the best tutorial I've seen so far. My SO has been doing his own hair since quarantine and some of the videos are very complicated.
Clean, and reduces infections... Perfect for these COVID times!

About every 10-14 days
