Dota 2 is a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) video game in which two teams of five players compete to destroy a large structure defended by the opposing team known as the "Ancient" whilst defending their own. As in Defense of the Ancients, the game is controlled using standard real-time strategy controls, and is presented on a single map in a three-dimensional isometric perspective. Ten players each control one of the game's 124 playable characters, known as "heroes", with each having their own design, strengths, and weaknesses. Heroes are divided into two primary roles, known as the core and support.

We've come so far as a society now that we're more accepting of the biranged identity.
Sure, you've got your Terrorblades, Lone Druids and Dragon Knights but they had to hide their identities with the use of transformations to avoid scrutiny. Then you've got your arcanas which helped spread awareness with the like of Razor and QoP. Troll Warlord stood his ground and took it like a man. Now we have more heroes coming out of the closet.

Oh, I _was_ wondering how Harpoon will work on her, but yeah, it seems it considers her ranged (so less pull distance) since it's technically not an attack.
Ranged Echo Blade effect isn't bad though.
Ideally we dont wanna harpoon people 🤣. Echo would be nice though

It was because of the skills and the way the hero scales, it was quite apparent why it worked best as pos 4 or 5. OG vente was never a hard carry though, not even in Dota 1.

she didn’t have the farming capability like many carrie’s have in the kit, plus a bit awkward attack range and attack animation. honestly building bf might change things up but her hero model is still underperforming as a carry somewhat
Carry was never her primary role. She has an aura, poor stats, a terrible range and animation, no farming ability, severe weakness to ganks, and absolutely killer support skills. Swap is top-tier on a support but a really weak ult for a carry. Sure, she's an agility hero, so pubs would sometimes play her as a carry, but that doesn't mean she ought to be.
Has short range attack, not fast farming, the ulti is useless if you play as carry because what the point swapping pos 1/2 into enemy team, it's same like suicide for your team

In arcade, cleave range is static. Range hero will still cleave(animation) in front of the hero but the damage won't exceed the cleave range 😂

Just for everyone watchinbg Basher doesn't actualy proc correctly. It is still only 10% as if she is ranged. I tested this on the 7.36 release so it may have been fixed but I doubt it as they really dont want ranged perma stun. Everything else worked as expected.
vanguard doesnt quite work either, it seems pretty patchy, probably not worth picking up until they iron everything out
@@7chickenbasher does work, the commenter probably forgot about the cooldown, vanguard not working is intentional

When you have the Scepter upgrade, it creates a strong illusion of Veng whenever Veng dies. She is dead, but now you have to deal with her illusion. Her illusion can also cast spells.
Also, if you buyback, and if the illusion is still alive, you spawn replace at the illusion instead at the fountain.
