    How do you like to set up your E-Bike suspension?⚡️ Remember to use the hashtag #AskEMBN with your questions 👍

      Ghetto style, of course, I read carefully the decal in my Pike, set the suitable pressure and...sag isn't enough, then release air to find the appropiate sag and...pressure is not the recommended, then I think : WTF!!! go riding!!!!

      Generally more LSC on the fork on steep tracks

    As great as it would be to have ultra plush suspension, plush = pedals slamming into rocks all the time.....like hitting on nearly flat ground if its to soft. 25% sag at the very most.
    150 crank arms are in my future.

    @EMBN-Been riding for years Enduro Orbea RALLON m10 160-160, finally bought an Eeeeb Scott Ransom e910 180-180 wow oh wow what a ride! Struggling with all the settings on the forks high and low speed compression and rebound compression lowered high. Had the bite delivered and it was already set up for my weight. I am 19 stone the guy has put in 135 psi with no rebound on no clicks. Mind has blown on all the different settings. I’ll get there I’m sure.! New subscriber too and great vid to watch!

    Good advice to Steve, I made a mistake on both wheels a couple of days ago, I had too little pressure and see ... pierced tubes on both wheels, the end of joy was over!😂👍

    You need to talk about how tyre pressures work in with the sus set up ......if you are running 2.8s you dont need tubeless cause you can run much lowwer prssures with tubes than a normal dualie since 2.8s have so much more volume than 2.2s , 2.4s etc. .....I run 26psi rear and 22psi front on my trek powerfly LT9 👌👍

    E- bike setup is defianetly diferent to a normal mtb, I have my rear RS delux at its fastest rebound setting and my Lyric runs 3 tokens with only a couple of clicks and i am only about 80kg. You definately need much faster rebound or it feels like a dollop.

      No difference at ALL. A bike is a bike. Of course it's heavier. Same set up applies whether it a light bike, e bike or motorcycle. It's all the same thing.

    Hi, I have just bought a Haibike SD HardNine 1.0 2020 and am really happy with the bike but the sun tour forks are terrible, no options to adjust and i am getting allot of peddle knocks because the travel is so low. can you tell me what forks i could upgrade to without breaking the bank i ride trails and forrest tracks i don't do big jumps or anything, just a beginer.

    All are equally important. Not one more than the other. Rebound and compression..... equally important. As is sag. Fist set sag. 30% generally too much.

    Hey EMBN!!! Love your vids. I’m still dialing in my fox forks on my marida 900e. Getting close. Would love a video on tyre pressures. #AskEMBN . I have 2.8’s on my bike. And seems like pressures make quite a difference. What’s a good all round pressure with tubes on a 27.5/2.8? 👍🏼

    I still find it amazing how much difference two clicks on rebound does on my ohlins on the kenevo. Got to make sure you change it if your doing jumps 😂😂😂

    • @embn
      @embn  5 років тому +2

      As Steve said it's all very personal. But yes as a rule slower rebound damping is essential for jumping and faster rebound for trail riding to help with grip 👍

    • @krkabob
      @krkabob 3 роки тому

      No dif for jumps... geeez folks. You set it up to do everything you ride. Unless you're talking massive hit and that's all your doing.

    I've learned having regular MTB shocks even on the lightest EMTBs like my 52lb Luna X2 with an 860wh battery. Is bad, like anything less then Rockshox RC2.1 Setup Lyrik build, can't provide me a quality ride. I don't have much money but I know I need to rebuild the front shock with lyrik internals and replace the 210x55 Select+ by RockShox. But not sure what rear shock to go with?

    I've got a new Trek Rail eMTB. Sag is set perfectly, but would you recommend using the full range of fork travel (Rock Shox Zeb). I ride in Lakes or Yorkshire Dales, rocky, roots, lumpy. Last ride felt a little hard on front end. Any advice? TIA, Neil

    I wrongly put 150 psi on a fox 34 fork with 120 psi max.
    When I noticed, I correct it without run the bike.
    Can this cause any issue?

    So what you are saying is, hire a shockwiz, because it's far too complicated for the average joe to get right.

    Dear anyone reading this, you mean something. You are beautiful. The way you look at things can change the way you feel. If your confident, everything will seem great for you. If you are insecure, you will feel like everything in your life sucks. YOU ARE AMAZING. YOU ARE AMAZING. YOU ARE AMAZING. YOU ARE STRONG. YOU ARE CONFIDENT. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL. YOU ARE BOLD. YOU ARE YOU! Did it sink in? You can read it again if you want :) Be yourself and if people don't like that and if they don't support you and understand you, well, they are not meant for you. You don't need someone to be confident for you, you have to depend on yourself. I love you all and have a great day!!!! Spread Kindness!!!!!

      Maybe had too much compression in the past or maybe just too fast a rebound on this one!
