- Sorry to those who are seeing this video for a second time. I had a major audio issue that I missed after the video rendered and spent all night correcting it. That's my story, anyway.
Thanks to Rolife for sending me their ROKR Army Jeep to build. It honestly was a lot of fun and a good change of pace.

Great video with sufficient detail for those who haven’t built one of these, like me. My wife gave me one for Christmas and am about to start the assembly. The only thing I found annoying about this video was the music. When it stopped at about the 20 min. mark, it was very pleasant to watch. The music isn’t needed!

My 10 year old son received this army keep for a Christmas present. I wish we had watched this video before we started building. He had broke both chassis’ and those are imperative to build. I’m off to buy a new kit, at least then we will have lots of extra pieces, but I’m going to build the chassis’s. Thanks for the help! 🇨🇦

Thanks Charlie. After I posted that video I discovered that the finished product had a major audio problem that wasn’t there during the editing process. Something about rending the video messed it up and I could let it be like that. I spent all night and this morning figuring out how to fix it. It was really frustrating. But I’m glad you watched it twice!

Yeah I think they are slow at updating that. Because I asked about the train that was out of stock and they said they had them. 🤷🏻♂️

I’ve had their robot music machine in my collection for awhile, and it’s been on my build list, only to get bumped by other projects that pop up. Now I think I’ll get it done sometime soon, so I can justify buying this Jeep. That said, the BTTF DeLorean build had taken over my world...

For a wooden model,it's decently detailed. Looks like a nice little relaxing build, that you can do in an afternoon. Something to kill a cold winter's day with.

Hi there, It was very satisfying watching you build this Jeep. I actually bought a truck that was made out of wood, it looks like an antique dump truck but you can buy many types of laser press wood models.

@@esuwarriormodelshop6369 Yeah, so I uploaded the video. Everything was fine. Then suddenly the sound was super messed up in two spots. I had no idea what happened. Something messed up in the rendering process. I had to take it down and fix it.

I just finished this one - Sometimes the fit is too tight between tabs/adjoining pieces so I used an emery board to chamfer the corners on the tabs. Chamfering allowed me to keep my tight fit while avoiding damage to the tabs when pushing pieces together. Chamfering also allowed for a more accurate and easier assembly of parts in tight/delicate/complicated hard-to-get-to places.
In addition to the exacto knife, the tools I found most helpful were needle nose and duck bill pliers, pocket pry bar (mini screwdriver) and tweezers.

Don’t let that stop you from trying. I asked about a train that was sold out. I wanted to know how long it would be to get one. They replied that it was already back in stock. So they may be slow to update their inventory.
Pretty neat! Seen a few others, some ships.The ships are not all wood mostly the frames.

It looks like a cool model, I actually just ordered one because of your video. However this model is actually not a jeep, it is a Soviet Gaz 67B field car, Russia's version of a jeep in 1944.

Good review. I ordered a couple of these wood puzzle/model kits yesterday. The Monster Truck and the Locomotive and Tender. They should be here tomorrow. Really looking forward to building them.

There are multiple companies making these types of kits. The first I was aware of was a company called UGears. I built their Hurdy-Gurdy about a year ago and was totally impressed with the quality of the kit and that it was fully functional.

I know you got alot of awesome models lined up but you should take a look at the ryefield models 1041a1 matv in 1/35 scale it is awesome only matv with a detailed engine xmsn suspension cab it's a really fun build

Any recommended glue if the part is broken? My A12 part is broken but i saw 3 A12 and only need 2 . Is it a spare ?
I’m so sorry, it’s been well over a year since I built this kit. If it’s a wood piece, a little wood glue, and then a thin coat of CA glue over the joint should fix you up. Just be patient and let it dry for a day before installing it. I hope that helps!

I think so. This outfit is in China and I think a week went by from the time they said they would ship it, to it arriving here in the states.
The ship to Ireland, I have their Locomotive, so they'll ship to the UK.

Not a US Jeep, it's a Soviet GAZ-67.

@@strikehold Sir, I bow to your knowledge. I just wikied it and it is indeed a GAZ - 67, so Ben was wrong to refer to it as a Willys jeep.

Gotta stop watching your channel. Each time you take on a build I end up telling myself "He makes it look so easy, I'll bet that I can do it!" First it was the Arizona, then the Missouri, now... My wallet opens up and its another project to enjoy. Its a good thing that you don't build houses, swimming pools, or nuke bombs.....
Probably a good thing that I only have a UA-cam channel for one of my hobbies 😉
