The first time I saw a real human skeleton I felt a very peculiar sadness and shock inside of myself. It wasn't a reaction to the bones themselves, but to what had once covered them; the strength, beauty, and complexity they had once supported. An entire world had once rested in that skull. How much love, pain, happiness and grief had that frame supported?
As an artist sometimes you write about presence, and other times, absence. You use lyrics and music to run your finger around the shape left by something lost. This EP is negative space. It's the frame supporting something that should be there, but simply isn't. A harsh reminder of what once was; of an unchangeable breach in the order of things. Biting, but necessary.
This is my sackcloth and ashes. This is my 7 stages all wrapped up into one. I didn't want to put most of these songs out. They all feel excruciatingly vulnerable. However, I decided I'd rather end my life pinned down, splayed out on a dissecting table than be stored away in formaldehyde, buried with my secrets.
So here I am. Here's the knife. Be gentle with me, please.

I love that your lyrics aren't just words or lines that you thought sounded edgy or unique, but actual thought out feelings manifested into song lyrics. It's why I've followed you for so long without losing interest.

Reach for the stars and even when there's a storm please wait for the rainbow after because you're so talented, never let it waste away like an unrequited love in the corners of your heart.

This beautiful sonata of sorrow makes me want to rip my skin off. If I were to judge music based on attributed feeling, you should be heard by every set of ears on earth. You take romantic cynicism to the next level and for that, if you get this, have created a ripple.

This song has had me in a chokehold for the past 7 years. I never got over it, everytime I listen to it it feels like the first time, the emotions are always so strong. This became a very very personal song for me a while ago, but I had never actually read the description in the video and now I could say Crywolf transmitted his emotions really well... This piece is poetic, raw, emotional and human and I wish everyone in the world would listen to it. A literal piece of art. I've loved your music since 2017 and I will die loving your music. You spoiled me, no other artist holds a candle to you. Justin, thank you for every single song you put out for us mere mortals to listen to.

It's been 4 years since the first time i listened to this and somehow forget and moved on, but today all of a sudden my brain just kept repeating the tunes, so I listened to this and rn I'm hooked again with a whole new interpretation in my mind with my current self. It's like discovering something new. It's so dark yet honest, raw, deep and intimate. This song still mesmerized me again and I put it on repeat. I love it.

Crywolf takes music about love to a whole new level.
Whenever I am feeling bothered, or disturbed by something, or simply feeling, like I am distorting beyond my usual self - this is the first song I am running to, hiding in its waves and dissolving in them.
Can't express how much I love all of it, the lyrics, the vocals, the dark undertones in the music, and this wavy beat, that Justin pulls out so well in his songs. I haven't seen anyone else making rhytm in their songs coming down like tides, back and forth, it's something pretty unique to Crywolf's music in my opinion, since only in his music I recognise this beautiful and soothing moving musical pattern.
