I've had this issue for a while. I'll randomly turn on the tv and nothing that is hooked to HDMI will work (playstation 4 or nintendo switch). Once i unplug it and replug it in it works fine until you turn the tv off and on. Had the same issue with a samsung TV and an update seemed to have fixed that issue. I'll try factory resetting it today.

I just had this happen to me. I hate my TCL Roku TV. It's slow and laggy and messes up a lot. Especially when navigating certain apps like Netflix. At one point I had no volume on my cable and only heard static. I had to turn the TV off then on again to fix it. For a second I thought my TV was broken.
Today, I went to play my PS4 so I turned it on and then the TV. I left the room for a minute while my game was loading but when I came back in the channel I had my PS4 hooked to had turned off with the words, "No signal. Is it on?" yet my PS4 was clearly on and running. I unplugged then replugged my PS4 wires from the console and then shut off then on my TV and it worked. But I feel like eventually this TV will break on me and I'm too broke to get a new one right now.

I got an update message and I did update now it's saying no signal
I try all you said it doesn't work. When I got to input. It's asking HDMI or HDM2 or AV then once I clicked on either its asking to select a bunch of stuff. I'm over it trust. I need help
