I've seen worse. Like the time an appellate judge found out about the attorney's failure to convey a settlement offer to the client and ordered him to get out his checkbook for the $80,000 excess he had cost the client.
It seems to me that when a judge dismisses a case with prejudice because of something the attorney did and not because of the facts of the case, that is very unfair to the defendant who did nothing wrong and did not get a chance to present his case.
the attorney didn't know anything about the facts of the case, he's just some scumbag attorney they hire to appear. he didn't know anything about the case which is why the judge was furious and dismissed with prejudice
