If she did hit him, i don't believe she knew it due to drinking and the weather! However the wounds don't sound like a car hit him. I don't believe she would be capable of of beating him like that. Then go dump him out in front of a policemans house. That makes no sence.

This is literally one of the worst Prosecution opening statements I have ever seen. It’s amazing to me that it is in total contrast to the best opening defense statement I have ever seen. The trial of the century. I am from Canton/Stoughton. I have been fascinated by this case for so long. The point is alot of blame is directed at everyone but KR. He's the DA prosecutor relaying all the evidence how it happened. Mr. Lally is being subjected to unnecessary criticism somehow by his mannerisms. This could be an effective way to distract from the truth, how and ever, jurys will bring justice to Mr. O'Keefes family when they convict the defendant, I'm certain.

As a mother of two toddlers, I guarantee you that my children started taking off very shortly after they started walking. They're both so freakin' long that they command your attention, unlike this guy who is so boring that I'm reading comments. My newly 2 y/o tries to die every day by walking into the road. Don't underestimate toddlers who have just started walking. As an aside, they're both more interesting to talk to than I can only assume this guy is. I don't know enough about the case yet to make a decision, but I am confident that (a) Even people who don't like children would rather talk to mine than to the prosecutor and (b) the defense's opening statement blew the prosecutor's opening statement out of the water. I didn't take my eyes off the screen. I believe you proved my second point, even if I took issue with your wording (I'm not actually offended.... just to be clear ☺️)

Over half of what this prosecutor said has been contradicted by his very own witnesses. Not only is his case absolutely horrific, so is his opening statement. It didn't bring any clarity whatsoever.
This case is absolutely surreal. I have never watched such abundance of incompetence displayed by a police department, even in tragic TV shows.
I'm left wondering how this got into the courtroom. Why it's getting broadcasted to the world, this case is beyond corrupt. And why is it allowed to continue? Don't get me wrong, I certainly hope it continues to get broadcasted. But it shouldn't even be taking place. It's completely ridiculous

My opinion is based on her statements and actions. Maybe you could explain me why an “innocent” woman who peacefully saw her boyfriend walk to the party house, would wake up 3 hours later screaming hysterical “DID I HIT HIM?”? Why she would feel the urgency to wake up is nephew and tell her that her father/uncle might have been hit by a snowplow??? Why the first thing she said to Kerry on the phone at 5am was “JOHN IS DEAD!”??? Why she NEVER thought about looking for him in someone’s else couch but only outside in the cold? Why she would ask to search for “How long to die in the cold?”. How could she know how long he had been outside in the cold???
None of this makes sense UNLESS she knew she had hit him! And after seeing the backwards (or reverse) system of her car, which is very well made with 3 different cameras and alert noise, I’m convinced that it was not an accident but she it him in purpose.
I’m assisting this trial from the other side of the ocean, I watch it everyday. I do not take my conclusions by Media or UA-camrs. I did not come to this trial with preconceived ideas. I did not knew the facts. I’m letting the evidence and the witnesses talk by themselves. That’s why all the presumed “evidence” that you pointed I see it as trash/noise distractions created by the defense to take your attention from the true culprit here. And that is KR! 🥸

This guy is the worst ever to give an opening statement… if I was a juror I’d ask for a repeat from another prosecutor who can speak methodically and specify names of each character in a manner to be clear and understood !! This guy spoke a million words without breathing making it very hard to understand who, what and where !!!!! My head would be spinning ! Ugh

Yes, prosecutors deliverance is very weak, however the forensics & lab results prove her guilt beyond a doubt.

This is by far the WORST opening statement EVER!!!
It usually tells the story of what happened. Lally literally JUST described every witness, like anyone would/could remember 40+ witnesses cold. Add monotone & BORING!🥱
I did not know what this trial was about until AFTER the defense opened.

Welp…he sure wasn’t wrong when he said cross examination is the key lol. That’s exactly what wrecked Lally and party

What is up with the poor quality of the audio with some person who clearly needs some Claritin or something snorting, sniffling, coughing and all sorts of other sound effects. The only mic's that would be on would be the Podium microphone and audio visual mic. I think it's the judge that's being rude and making all of the noise and sighing at the defense attorney. So unprofessional of her.

Oh my God, you’re preaching to the choir over here. I’ve followed this for about a year with the pre-trials and judge Bev constantly mouse breathes into the microphone. And then you have Lally, who is the ADA, he just put you to sleep number one and number two you can never hear him he’s I don’t know what’s going on with his mic. It’s only his microphone so it’s gotta be away from his face because you can hear it fine in opening…. But then, after that, you can’t even hear a word he says, like you literally have to stand by your speaker.

It’s the judge she’s breathing all over the mic all day everyday . It’s brutal!

Even with the echo of the courtroom, I can hear him as plain as day. I think your ears just don't want you to hear all the damning evidence against her, so you're blocking it out.

I usually have no respect for defence attorneys,,, but for this one ,,,,, BRAVO !!!! Simply stunning !!! Perfect ! And the prosecution,,,,,, I forwarded it after 2 minutes ,,, as it was boring ,useless,, ,, and demeaning to the officer that had his life stolen !!!!!!

Look along with your comment actually admitting to 》ff OS of prosecution really have made up your mind already which is naive and without substance. As another comment was questioning Lally about how why and motive of the defendant instead of listening to him in its entirety. This isnt a movie and definitely can be useful to those who seek the truth, if you take the time to listen to all the evidence. What are you waffling about with boring useless?? For Lally, these are the facts he's speaking on behalf of the late John O'Keefe.

20 days into the trial, there is no way I would convict her just based on the total mismanagement of evidence alone. There is no way. Never mind the one question I have....if he lost all of the blood they say he lost, where is it?? It makes no sense.

Got triggered by all the damning circumstantial evidence against her, didn't you? A man is killed and your deflecting for her with talk about prosecutor's suppoesed lack of charisma. 🙄 Why that's almost like she's innocent by reason of prosecutor's lack of charisma! 🙄
