    I really like your videos because they not also help me improve my english hearings (I am venezuelan) but also know the world of baseball inside. Nobody has taken time like you to share his baseball experiences. Your comments really seem to be honests.
    Perhaps,you could keep up with a MLB career but your human behaviors are better than other big leaguers because of your humility!
    Congrats and go on like that.!!
    Greetings from Venezuela.

    Great behind the scenes look at a day in the life of an MLB player. Could you do a video about your prep on game day and off days? You kinda went over it here, but something that specifically covers in detail the stretching, lifting, throwing, hitting, etc. routines you did both on game day and "off" days? Thanks again for the awesome video's!

    New to your site, so this may be somewhere that I have not found yet. But if you haven't, this may be an interesting topic for a video. What is it like to 'sit the bench' in MLB. Do you typically know if you have a chance to play that day or not? How do you stay mentally 'in the game' when I am sure they all start running together. How much warning do you typically get if doing a substitution? How do you transition from observer to participant if you are told to go in?
    While you probably cannot answer for them, if you had any input for the same type questions for pitchers...both starters and relievers. Seems like the hardest thing to do would be a starting pitcher sitting through a game on their 'day off'

    • @AntonelliBaseball
      @AntonelliBaseball  7 років тому

      Typically laid back before games. Even games can be somewhat laid back at times. There are so many games, it isn't like football where guys are foaming at the mouth every day of the year. Thanks for commenting and watching!

      Antonelli Baseball I'm not a football fan. I am invested into baseball and I would love to become a major leaguer. And I'm asking this question because I joke around a lot and on my high school team people get very upset with me when I joke around. I feel a get out there and work vibe from them and I was wondering if that translates over to majors and minors and college. (I don't think I've seen haft of the people on my team laugh)

    based on what you described, it doesn’t seem like you eat a lot of food.... maybe 3-4 meals... not particularly big ones. I always thought given the amount of work you do on the field, plus the weightlifting, you would eat like 5-6 times per day.... or at least supplement your meals with some protein shakes or meal bars, either your own, or if provided by the ball club (Major Leagues anyway).

    I love your videos. I'd like to know who are the best players you've seen or played with that never made it to the MLB. Also why you think they didn't make it.

    How did you deal with Coaches that took all the fun out of the game? and did you ever have any teammates that disliked you? Is there dissension in the MLB? any players that are like cancer to the team?

      Antonelli Baseball thanks for answering! Ya I'm 17 and growing up my favorite players were Paul konerko joe crede, Jorge posada, Robinson cano, and I looked up to Jim thome, I pretty much made my stance his when I used to play baseball he was an awesome player and super nice one he would always sign autos whenever you asked him. Players like him are the best kind of players. He was great on and off the field

    Were you the type of player to sign autographs for kids a lot? And why do some players sign autographs one day and then don't do it the next day?

    • @AntonelliBaseball
      @AntonelliBaseball  7 років тому +1

      Yes I did. I think most are pretty good with it, but sometimes guys are just in a bad mood or have to do something. I do think most are really good about it though. Thanks for commenting and watching!

    When you signed with the Yankees, was it weird to play in the system that was the brutal rival of your favorite childhood team? I ask this as a Yankees fan haha

    • @AntonelliBaseball
      @AntonelliBaseball  7 років тому +1

      Nah by the time I signed with them I wasn't a Red Sox fan anymore so it didn't feel too weird. Thanks for watching!!

    pretty much any pro sports u do, ure gonna commit to it everyday for at least 9-10 hours a day. like if ure an nba player, ure going to live, breathe, sleep and eat basketball all day everyday until the offseason, & even then at least 3/4s of your offseason should be spent working out & improving your game.

    So where was the time to sign some autographs for the fans, or did you avoid it like some guys do? Next question would be why don't guys sign more? I mean I've heard guys tell us they don't want to sign because we will sell it which while there are dealers there it sucks for us guys that just collect autographs to be lumped in with those asshats. Just found your page keep up the vids man super interesting!
