- Having problems developing that lower chest? This will definitely help you out and no it's not decline bench or dips...
One of the things I wanted to single out right away that I didn't mention in my first video on lower pec exercises is that you have to be 100% honest with yourself. Because it's either one of two things, you're not training it properly or your body fat is too high and those have very different solutions.
This video is more centered around how to train the muscle itself and specifically use different angles to maximize the contraction.

I watched your video a couple of weeks ago on doing incline cable flys and focusing on contracting to the point that your elbows touch together&I wanted to say thanks as since I saw that video I have been doing a lot of those on my chest days&that gives me a much more thorough&complete contraction. I greatly appreciate the direction! I rarely get excited about a new way to down exercise but this has done just that&I love it!

Easily the best and smartest lower chest video on the internet. His explanation on engaging mind and muscle is the most necessary thing no one talks about. I’ve paid trainers that I wish would have taught this. Gains do happen when you follow his advice and instructions.

Midway through first set of the angled decline move, two guys started a 'gym fail' video of me. Called me crazy after I smiled/flipped them off + said, it's my initiation into the 'Get After It' club. Hey, at least it got em' to leave..thanks again for another great session.
Don't mind them, just keep in mind that you confident that you're doing the exercise right with proper form and hitting the right muscles. And besides whoever makes fun of anyone in the gym, doesn't deserve to be in the gym

Just done this workout today but had to use resistance bands for one of them which worked really well - great tweaks combined with effective knowledge - keep up the quality content

I was hoping you could add a small tweak to your excercise explanations? I struggle with how much other muscles are supposed to be activating, if at all, during any given excercise. It would be amazing if there were any tips on how to isolate and build that mind/muscle connection with each technique.

Thanks much. As a newer lifter I think I've been overemphasizing upper too much. I'm only seeing that upper head develop and I can only flex it. Yes I have a lot of fat on there too but I can't feel much muscle at all until I did the moves you demonstrated. Time for some remedia/beginner focus work I think!
My gym has the pec deck fly that provides a downward motion and i absolutely love it. Combined with a little inward twist of elbows at bottom of motion, I have no found anything else that allows me to engage my chest as well as this thing does

Turns out that my dining room chairs have been perfect for doing dips. I just place them back to back and dip off the high backs. They are built like tanks, oak I think, and have worked as well the gym dip bars. Give it a try!
