tbh even if tirion got resurrected I dont see in any scenario he agrees to become a death knight and serve the lich king. Whitemane was burned by hatred even when serving the light and thus she was corrupted even before she got resurrected. Tirion, however, much like Uther are simply uncorruptible, they remain pure even in the face of death, even in the torturous realm and still answer the call and assists the paladdin champions from time to time.
The Lich King is an entity in itself. There is little but memory that has been given to the new Lich King from Bolvar. Bolvar is gone , the Lich King is like a parasite , taking control and leaving nothing left , once the body is dispatched it lets go , which is why Arthas was Arthas in the end of it , coming to grips with what had happened. Bolvar can influence the choices the new Lich King will make , made evident that Arthas would still act the same towards people he knew to a degree , so this Lich King may recognize Tirion , but it does not mean that this Lich King would hesitate to kill him. It's almost like a clouded judgment. Tirion would not be friendly to the Lich King just because the person embodying him was once his friend. If it did work like just gaining new powers , we would not think of this Lich King as a threat at all , as Bolvar would not if he could control it even think of releasing the Scourge. The only reason Tirion would serve is because he would do an awful lot to save Azeroth and her people , but this would be pushing the limits of even him. He would have made a very reluctant Horsemen , which is why the story took this route as well as the many other reasons like it would make little sense for the Ebon Blade to waltz into Lights Hope without as much as an attempt from the Light to stop us. While I'm all for Death Knights being strong I feel the only way we got so far was the Light giving us a chance , Holy ground is not a good place for us.
It was a stupid move on the Ebon Blade's part to even try to resurrect Tirion, did Darion forget what happened last time he and the dk player tried to assault Light's Hope?
when I was playing on my rogue I somehow got in the DK campaign... yes you heard me right. I was running Scarlet Monastery for Exodar rep and for transmog and I was also queued for heroic Maw of Souls at the same time. Halfway through the monastery it popped and I ran the Maw. However, when I left the group I noticed something was weird... I was still in the Scarlet Monastery just in a different place. So I turn around and see Nazgrim doing his death grip bullshit or whatever. I'm like wait a minute I don't fucking remember this. So then I saw a DK and he ran up to me asking how I'm in here. I responded by saying "wth r u talking about" and he told me it was the DK campaign... weirdest thing ever. I helped him run through it and then we said our farewells. it was an odd but cool experience that will probably never happen again.
How the hell Can the Death knights even be allowed to be in the Next Expansion after pretty much pissing off The Horde, The Alliance, And the Silver hand............Meanwhile Illidan Fucks up Xera and by association the Army of the light hold a bit of a teeny little grudge against the DH....
As a matter of fact I was there when my brother (the Deathlord) attacked. I fought him with all my strength, but was defeated. Enraged, I called upon the full power of the Light to protect its greatest champion from the everlasting darkness of undeath. It answered.
xXMLGgamer69Xx azeroth was devastated after the titans killed y'sharj. dou you really think ALL old gods except n'zoth are 100% dead? and if so pls link me your source. because from what i know so far the old gods have been kinda pushed back by us (except y'sharj, he really is dead)
I believe that in the beta, and therefor the majority of Legion's development beforehand, you unlocked the title as soon as you unlocked the Class Hall. People complained that it didn't seem like a reward or something to build up to, so Blizz changed it to be an unlocked title. Obviously they couldn't just redo all those voice lines, so there's that discrepancy I may be incorrect as it was awhile ago
Nazgrim has no chill, during Light's Heart's recovery in the Exodaar, he arrives with Thassarian apologizing because Nazgrim wanted to strangle every demon he could see lmao
This is really one of the best campain of them all! Seeing Nazgrim being such a badass just like he was alive is so freaking cool haha! And that last part is just fantastic.
I wonder what Arthas meant in our encounter with him in highmountain.... by saying "HIM" did he meant bolvar or was it a 4th Wall break and he talked about us, players
maybe he thought of nerzhul, maybe he was the one in control all this time. maybe we're all his puppets. he does hate the burning legion more than he hates the rest of us, especially after kiljaden used the image of his wife to trick him, and the whole soul ripping probably didn't help either.
by bolvar i meant him and nerzhul u know... they merged after all :P so is it like hint from Arthas not to trust lk because he controlls everything or just an awesome Wall break :D i really hope that they will extend this thing... i really wanna know why is Arthas warning us and what will happen
it's exactly what i thought !! he must be talking about the player, the character is our tool, they think they are in control, but we are the one to decide their action!!!! ARTHAS KNOWS !!
The only one who's opinion I cared about when resurrecting them was Nazgrim... but then he was totally cool about it and just went full Djent on pretty much every enemy he could see. Rock on, Nazgrim. Rock on, my dude. \m/
I have a serious LORE question: How come that almost every being in WoW drops gold when killed? even orcs from Draenor and Demons from all over the galaxy use the same currency as the Land of Kalimdor, and they have a stash with them? BitCoin foreshadowing?
Tass Александр there are you speak only warlocks understand demonic and if you try to speak to another faction it comes out as random but pronounceable gibberish
not gonna lie I actually got super excited when I heard Tirion get chosen as the fourth horsemen. like OH SHIT WE GET TIRION TO FIGHT ALONG SIDE HIM!?! But yeah the power of the light is a hell of a thing. I hope the Silver Hand doesn't retaliate against us. But I wouldn't blame them we tried to revive one of the greatest heroes and the hero who delivered the final blow to Arthas shattering Frostmourne.
Same. When Lich King mentioned Tirion, I was like,"Oh come on. Guy gave more then anyone and you want to raise him as the leader for the four horsemen?!" Ironic twist of fate that Darion would share dad's fate :o but better him then Tirion.
it was better if tirion was a horesman , tirion could actualy do something usefull in this expansion , beccause now EVERYBODY has the mighty assbringher bla bla
Well shit that was cool. Got to love adding drama to the DKs again and now they seemed to have pissed off the Alliance, Horde, and the entire Paladin class.
The LK is The LK. There's no "We" only "I", regardless of whom sits under the crown. He's still the same manipulative mastermind he always was, he's using the ebon blade for his ends, which by sheer coincidence happen to be ours too for now (defeating the legion). It will undoubtedly turn on us the moment we deal with the legion, you can be sure of that
Ackbar Reserve How do you know? Ner'zhul (as the spirit of the LK) and Arthas as the body merged at some point, and then Arthas was slain. There is no guarantee that Ner'zhul somehow was able to un-merge with Arthas and remain as Spirit inside the Armor and wait for Bolvar to take up the mantle of the LK. Thus far the LK hasnt displayed any kind of powerstruggle in his mind or any kind of hostility towards others.
Ackbar Reserve Do you not remember that Bolvar has _endless_ will, he did not succumb to the Lich King's torture. With indomitable will, you _CAN_ control the Lich King. Shown by Arthas using Frostmourne and not instantly being LK.
Thank you! I got stuck for so long. Most of the other guides are not narrated which makes them hard to follow. Your WoW work is worth a "Legendary" title.
>Vol'jin makes Sylvanas warchief because he heard her name in "whispers" >Sylvanas does some shady power-hungry business in Legion >Giant Nightmare Eye implies Sylvanas will be the one to free the Old Gods >Lich King Bolvar got himself a new pet and is using him to control the Ebon Blade Boy I can't wait for Wrath of the Bitch Queen + Call of C'thun
OMG thank you Nobbel. Out of all the stuff going down in Legion this was the #1 thing I wanted to see most but was thinking that you're probably doing all the weapons first then order hall stories maybe and I would have to wait for months. Thank you so much my friend for this :D
I think the light is just being jealous. The only proper cool guy they have is tirion. He broke frostmorne! The light still wants to be cool so it keeps tirion around.
DKs are BIG FUN to play in Legion. Looove the class quests and running with Koltira Deathweaver is a w00t! This is an incredibly good vid, thank you for making and sharing it!
Might word this poorly but curious about your opinion. With Bolvar as The Lich King, do you think his final choice for Tirion came from his past Paladin self, as well as being close with Tirion? Basically hearing of Tirion's fall and not being able to do anything, Bolvar chooses to bring Tirion back for a 2nd chance at life? I'm just speculating of course.
Soulitario25 I think he'd chosen darian all along. He knew the lights strength at light hope, there was no chance they would be able to bring him back as a horseman. He just set up darian for a heroic end to bring him back...again lol
Nah I think he knew that the Light would not let us take Tirion and that we would end up dying and he just wanted to see if Darion would once again sacrifice himself for the greater cause.
The Lich King is his own entity , everyone else is just to help him be. Ner'Zul was where he began , Arthas became his body , and now Bolvar takes the place of Arthas after he was dispatched. Arthas had little idea what had happened , it like a nightmare where you can't control your body. This Lich King would not hesitate to kill , put into servitude , nor torture Tirion. This Lich King will probably be able to say a few more personal things as Bolvar's memory is assimilated , but it's still the Lich King nonetheless.
Your Channel is a seemingly endless Lore Goldmine. It lets me see content i could never play just by limited time. Really happy i found you through CrenCren and Jesse :)
Nobbel, I absolutely love your videos! My favorite part of the game is the lore, and you do such a great job at telling it!!! Please keep the videos coming!
Well, a baseline DK is more powerful lore-wise than a baseline of any other class. But when it comes to the upper limits of power, some of the others begin pulling ahead. But, the thing with DK's is, the longer they live and the more they fight, the stronger they get. So theoretically, a Death Knight's power ceiling is only surpassed by an immortal mage or warlock.
hey Nobbel, you got such a talent for these video's, know that I don't even play WoW and my only link with it is from hearthstone and yet your videos are amongst my favourite on UA-cam. thank you for everything you have done.
Oh yeah!!! My favorite campaign! Glad you enjoyed it as well Nobbel. The story was perfect, how it played out in-game was amazing, and the voice acting... It just made even better. The only thing I could complain about is the fact of the Deathlord not getting one of those badass looking deathcharger, but who knows! Maybe it will become an Order Hall mount in a future patch?
I'm disappointed in the part of Tirion as much as u were disappointed with the part of Koltira. Where is the retaliations of the horde and alliance with the first 2 horsemen rising? blizzard come on! at least have the horsemen after they rise go with us to the horde/alliance leaders and express our thoughts and the plan... not keep it a secret backdoor thingy... what does sylvanas has to say about Koltira escaping?! blizzard please! I'm a paladin main but seeing that there is a chance of Tirion to have come back to the story once again excites me ALOT! or at LEAST in that scenario where the light defends the tomb, have Tirion Spirit rise and say a couple of wise words to encourage not only the Death Knights but also the Paladins defending his tomb to not hold this intrusion against them and work hand in hand together against the legion just like his old speech after the DK starting zone... and maybe, just maybe, himself saying something along the lines of "now its my time to rest and its time for you!" so many missed opportunities blizzard... so many...
Eh, since the dire situation I would imagine Horde and Alli would just suck it up. Especially since Nazgrim and Trollbane are happy to have a chance to save Azeroth.
IKR??? Isn't it just WAY more interesting to have Tirion come back as a Death Knight? When I went in to do that final quest and I was looking forward to finding out who it would be, I was so disappointed when it turned out to be Darion... I like Darion but it's boring. Plus, wouldn't everyone have been better off if Tirion could have returned in one form or another? Isn't he gonna be more use to everyone alive (ish)?
David Uzsak In regards to Tirion becoming a death knight i am against it just like everyone else; however what i wanted to see personally is him coming up as a ghost and stating the reasons why he can not be a death knight and why he can not help any more and just want to rest like his fellow paladins (Uther) BUT he will be there to guide us and show us the true meaning of coming together and even maybe showing Darion the true meaning in becoming a great leading force of redemption even as a leader of the horsemen and death knights order... just thinking about it gives me the feels to be honest.
This is by far the best campaign in the game! I almost cried when Darion died when I played through it. I was so happy when he was revived as the last horseman!
Where do I start? First: I like the idea of having Nazgrim with us again. He was an honorable orc in life, but his loyalty towards Garrosh blinded him to the cruelty the Kor'kron showed to the captured Theramore civilians, along with other atrocities. As a horseman, Nazgrim will get a chance to do the right thing, much like Whitemane. Second: I too expected more conflict from rescuing Kol'tira, like some dialogue with Sylvanas. But this works fine too. Koltira can still fight and I'm glad this story is finally wrapped up. Besides, I think a missing prisoner will be the least of Sylvanas' concerns at this point. And finally: I'm glad Darion is the leader of the horsemen instead of Tirion. Tirion has done enough for Azeroth.
Yea, such a "right thing", killing people who is your allies. I dont see how Whitemane doing anything better than she was doing while she were alive. Similiar goes with Nazgrim.
SavantUncensored I'm not sure I can't remember doing it at all I remember going to under city so I can fly to pally Oder hall but that's it can you do it while lvling because I just speed leveled and mite have missed it or is it Max Lvl quest line
Darian just oozes charisma with his voice. I really hope he gets involved in one of the Raids, I'd love to hear him shout something like "The Four Horsemen have come for you, demons!"
As a DK main since WotLK,I was so glad when I saw the connections they made with the old lore(Nazgrim and Trollbane). But man,as soon as I saw the Lich King telling us to attack Light's Hope again,my jaw dropped. Both you(the player) and Darion have been screwed by Ner'zhul in the past and sent on a suicide mission(and Yes,even though he is Bolvar now,the source of his power and influence still comes from Ner'zhul). Light's Hope cannot be conquered because of the Light. And now we are repeating history only to get our asses kicked again? It felt...odd,to say the least. I mean, paladins get to fight Balnazzar(who is a real threat to Azeroth) and we just run around the world, turning people into undead and pissing off those who we should actually work with? We should be on the front line, killing demons.Come on,where are the badass deathknights from Wrath, who would actually form an alliance with the paladins to face a common threat? The last decision that the game forces you to make felt a bit childish. I just hope that when the Lich King betrays us again,Anduin won't have to save our asses just as Tirion did in the past. LOL. Sorry for the long post and thank you if you had the patience to read it. Have a nice day!
To be fair we are gaining troops for such attacks. If we just attacked with what we had then we wouldn't be at our most powerful. So what if we pissed off the Horde and Alliance? The true threat is the legion and I don't see any horsemen we brought back complaining about "I do not wish to serve". They know the legion must be stopped at all cost, and if there is a reason to raise the dead that fought or were part of those times in the war. Then you need the best of the best you can muster. Sometimes if people do not wish to hear or be reasoned with actions must be taken for the survival of the whole world. Death Knights understand this as do DH's. They know great sacrifice must come, and they can't leave it in the hands in the light. Thus whenever the world is threaten by such beings of chaos, you can count on the DH's and DK's to answer the call and do whatever it takes to save their world.
What is that ending. What is the Lich King talking about ? Who is "He" ? Death ? God ? The player ? Although i dont think they would want to break the 4th wall that badly
Oh of course they were not going to let their uber super sayan holy paladin get resurected as a death knight or anything ... come on now, it's obvious he's coming back eventualy like a god damned angel or something ... Sad thing is it might have made for a neat twist and undo all the mary sueness they infused into that character during wrath.
They probably went with more recent characters. Nazgrim died 2 expansions ago and Tirion was the Khadgar of WotLK. Uther may have had some role but he was dead before WoW. Same with Grom. Not to mention we already got a "second" Grom in WoD.
In the Legion alpha, they had a whole bunch of different characters appearing in the OH campaigns. For example, the warrior Valhalla place was filled with OUR warrior heroes, like Lothar, Broxigar, Grom, Nazgrim (the non-DK one), Varian, and the likes. That means Nazgrim was not always meant to be a Horseman. But they changed much before release, and Valhalla is a vrykul place now without OUR old heroes in there. I assume there were other similar changes in the last minute. Wonder if these characters will ever make an appearance or were completely scrapped.
dwarves, forsaken, and orcs are pretty good fits forsaken are already dead so they're used to being dead, but lorewise forsaken dk is kinda silly, as they have died twice. dwarves are a pretty good pick because they're already strong and used to frost (dun morough) and orcs were the first DKs, while not the same as current dks they WERE the first. draenei also sync pretty good with dk considering how faithful they are to the light, it's kinda messed up since now they are all about shadow death unholy etc.
Depends what you mean by "most deathknighty." In the lore, there's more human death knights than any other race, but the first death knight was an orc (Teron Gorefiend).
I am forever bound to the Light and Paladins, but this is the best class hall campaign of them all. To see Whitemane again is worth the leveling of a Deathknight. Gj Blizz and Thanks Nobbel ^_^
Now many claim to be knights of death, but you are merely slaves of darkness, conquering for no reason but to conquer; mindless knights dressed in armor. True knights of Death know their place, true knights of Death are chosen. We do not choose our destinies, they choose us.
yeah start a war with a potential allied faction while the legion knock on our gates. dont we got enough problems with sylvannus and the nightmare as is?
Death Knights aren't really evil. They're edgy anti-heroes and are "doing what the living cannot" to save Azeroth. While the things they do during the campaign like attacking Light's Hope are morally questionable actions they're not doing them for selfish reasons. Thassarian sums it up really well with one of his quotes: "The world will cry out in anger against us, but the air that fills their lungs will be bought with the price of our souls."
So why have they not tried to resurrect Medivh or Varian or Vol'jin or any past hero. They went for the one person they knew should not be messed with and failed because they are pawns of the LK. Tirion before he became a badass wanted to live alone and in peace. He came out of hiding to defend his world he loved and in his death he wanted to be returned to that peace so he gave us Ashbringer so that we can continue his work. Why go and disturb him if he has done enough for Azeroth? Why not raise arthas again to be a DK? DH say the same thing "what have you sacrificed" ya well you chose to do this so it is not a sacrifice if you chose it. The only thing DH/DK have sacrificed is their own free will, the rest of the classes were smart enough to keep it, well maybe not Warlocks.
im honestly annoyed by whitemane and Nazgrim as part of the 4 horsemen, i don't really see why whitemane would join you, she hates the undead with a burning passion
i doubt they are using mind control (yet). We know that souls go somewhere in death and when resurrected they arent exactly the same as on life, thats why Darion said "Death has a way of quelling the madness of the mind..." The fact that Whitemane feels like there is no atonement for her indicates the she now sees her past actions as wrong. Nazgrim on the other hand is an Orc and was a warrior and if somebody hates demons enough to put aside complaints about resurrection is an orc You can call bullshit and bad writting but i think that thats their angle and not some lich king uga buga mind control again
It is a little odd but I think it may also not be entirely their own feelings but rather the necromancy affecting their viewpoints, influencing them. Nazgrim I buy entirely however. He's an orc, he hates the legion for corrupting his people, and it gives him an excuse to keep on fighting things. The others seem to have at least some sense of unfinished business to influence their sudden undead state
It is quite interesting how intricate the storylines in Legion are. With all that is going on right now, I bet that someone will be able to create a detail timeline of what went on after the events of Legion ends and a new expansion comes to take it's place.
THIS! This is why I hate Order Halls, and prefer the superior Garrison system... Having a Coold and Enjoyable RP moment? Good, just "try" to ignore the other 200 players running clouding your screen, the other 50 players pretending they're having sex using the [Foot Ball], the other 100 standing on tables, features, or NPCs.
Yo seriously, Blizzard better give us Paladins a chance to strike back. Those cowardly Death Knights struck while we were defending the Priests temple and laid hands on Lady Liadrin. We must have Retribution!
Nothing but absolute coolness and badassness for the Death Knights. I'd expect nothing less than that from the Order Hall quests, and we were NOT disappointed by Blizzard. This will definitely be one of my favorites as well.
Man I love just how into this all Nazgrim is 😂 He is just having a fun time wielding a weapon again. It’s clear that death and resting in peace was not for him. His purpose for existing was on the battlefield!
As someone who only has time to build up his one main, that being a Brewmaster Monk, I am excited to see you walking us through all the class campaigns! What do you think of the monk campaign? I enjoyed it just fine, and I especially liked all the quests that took me back to Pandaria. It's really great how they are connecting the story back to locations we've visited before. It really connects everything and helps you to remember what major roles some previously-explored areas and stories play in the big picture.
I just love the simplicity of Koltira's plotline: "I was in jail. What did you expect? Weird experiments and me ending up as some sort of fat dumb abomination? Seriously... I'm disappointed in you High Lord.... /facepalm"
Nazgrim : You raised me into undeath?
Deathlord : Bro, the Legion is invading.
Nazgrim : Got it. Let's go.
That's nothing compared to Sally Whitemane. Or even Delaryn.
Piss Horde, checked
Piss Alliance, checked
Piss Sylvanas, checked
Piss Scarlet Crusade, checked
Piss Argent Crusade, checked
Blizzard actually having there be repurcussions for these things, [ ]
Piss Silver Hand, checked
To be fair, the Ebon Blade DOES have to help with the Corrupted Ashbringer for the Paladins. So...that's some form of "payback" I guess.
yeah, but they kinda killed a bunch of guys during the invasion and ressurected another bunch of dead paladins (i think) from that crypt as ghouls
ally with the lich king, checked
piss the silver hand, checked
now we only need a badass horse mount
It seems the Light is more concerned with Tirion having a peaceful rest than with saving the world from the Legion.
It would stupid if dk's could just resurrect everyone so im happy they did that
tbh even if tirion got resurrected I dont see in any scenario he agrees to become a death knight and serve the lich king. Whitemane was burned by hatred even when serving the light and thus she was corrupted even before she got resurrected.
Tirion, however, much like Uther are simply uncorruptible, they remain pure even in the face of death, even in the torturous realm and still answer the call and assists the paladdin champions from time to time.
are you forgetting that tirion is the friend of the current lich king

It was a stupid move on the Ebon Blade's part to even try to resurrect Tirion, did Darion forget what happened last time he and the dk player tried to assault Light's Hope?
Nazgrims like "The legion is coming? Good, When can i cleave some skulls?"
when I was playing on my rogue I somehow got in the DK campaign... yes you heard me right. Best glitch ever!
Haha, love bugs like that
Are you sure you're a rogue? :D
Bindair Dundat positive.
***** it was so weird dude. i was hella confused
death knights be like, "WHO ELSE CAN WE PISS OFF ON THIS PLANET"
Wasn't that Garrosh's philosophy?
TheGoldenKing20 ye arthas job was being a bad ass that like damnnnn jaina ASSS
They are just being fair to everyone. Don't want any group to feel left out
The old gods?, oh wait they are already pissed off nevermind...
How the hell Can the Death knights even be allowed to be in the Next Expansion after pretty much pissing off The Horde, The Alliance, And the Silver hand............Meanwhile Illidan Fucks up Xera and by association the Army of the light hold a bit of a teeny little grudge against the DH....
as the highlord of the paladins why wasn't I informed of this treachery
apparently you were out grinding ap while this happened.
As a matter of fact I was there when my brother (the Deathlord) attacked. I fought him with all my strength, but was defeated. Enraged, I called upon the full power of the Light to protect its greatest champion from the everlasting darkness of undeath. It answered.
RP much?
DarkEpyon123 Problem?
OcularCentaur42 How can two High lords existe in the same place?
At least the Koltira storyline is finally resolved, it only took them six years to get around to it
Koltira is my worldquest buddy :)
I will make sure he will suffer for eternity......
Nobbel is right though, its dissapointing. You waited 6 years for nothing to happen.
Unless they add more to the campaigns in later patches and Sylvanas did something to his mind, it did seem fairly easy to get to him.
its slightly disappointing but considering how long it took them I was just so ready for it to have resolution, anything would suffice at this point
I hate how the lore characters are always so tall, it makes it all weird whenever you are next to them.
Agreed! A single gnome is taller than a human!
Idk Brann Bronzebeard is a pretty badass dwarf tho hes small
Just use a Personal World Shrinker!
in the warcraft universe size directly equals power, that's why all the raid bosses are bigger than buildings
Well in raids its a reason its to make them easier to target middle of all the players, I guess its the same reason in places like this.
I just want to take a moment to say Darion's VA is amazing.
The fact that the lich king is active again terrifies me.
It's not Arthas, though it is concerning that Yogg'Saron is still trying to corrupt Northrend.
Murphio we dont know that
Old gods are not dead nor alive, they are outside the cycle
Old gods are all dead except for nzoth, anyone who says otherwise isnt updated on lore, or they have their headcannon.
xXMLGgamer69Xx azeroth was devastated after the titans killed y'sharj. dou you really think ALL old gods except n'zoth are 100% dead? and if so pls link me your source. because from what i know so far the old gods have been kinda pushed back by us (except y'sharj, he really is dead)
i hate how they call us titles like Deathlord and Farseer WAAAYYYY before we actually unlock the title.
when they we're calling my Demon Hunter Slayer I was like 'Wtf is that just another word used to replace my name, like champion or hero'
Originally in Beta you received the title immediately. This was changed to give to completing the Order Hall Campaign to make them more rewarding.
I believe that in the beta, and therefor the majority of Legion's development beforehand, you unlocked the title as soon as you unlocked the Class Hall. People complained that it didn't seem like a reward or something to build up to, so Blizz changed it to be an unlocked title. Obviously they couldn't just redo all those voice lines, so there's that discrepancy
I may be incorrect as it was awhile ago
Khadgar once called my Warlock Netherlord and was completely confused to why he called me that
In RL we call Presidents and Ministers leaders long before they show any leadership, if ever.
I loved this Class Campaign. It made playing a death knight feel like playing a death knight again. Commander of the dead.
Nazgrim has no chill, during Light's Heart's recovery in the Exodaar, he arrives with Thassarian apologizing because Nazgrim wanted to strangle every demon he could see lmao
Wow, imagine... Death Knight Tirion...
I would have retired my Paladin and reroll DeathKnight XD
This is really one of the best campain of them all! Seeing Nazgrim being such a badass just like he was alive is so freaking cool haha! And that last part is just fantastic.
I wonder what Arthas meant in our encounter with him in highmountain.... by saying "HIM" did he meant bolvar or was it a 4th Wall break and he talked about us, players

This should have all the thumbs up
by bolvar i meant him and nerzhul u know... they merged after all :P so is it like hint from Arthas not to trust lk because he controlls everything or just an awesome Wall break :D i really hope that they will extend this thing... i really wanna know why is Arthas warning us and what will happen
it's exactly what i thought !! he must be talking about the player, the character is our tool, they think they are in control, but we are the one to decide their action!!!! ARTHAS KNOWS !!
Next xpac, Arthas redemption storyline and together with Illidan they can dethrone The New Day as the Tag Team Champions!
The only one who's opinion I cared about when resurrecting them was Nazgrim... but then he was totally cool about it and just went full Djent on pretty much every enemy he could see.
Rock on, Nazgrim. Rock on, my dude. \m/
I loved the DK orderhall and Darion saying "withoit monsters there can be no heroes" was just so badass!!
I have a serious LORE question: How come that almost every being in WoW drops gold when killed? even orcs from Draenor and Demons from all over the galaxy use the same currency as the Land of Kalimdor, and they have a stash with them? BitCoin foreshadowing?
well, would it be fun to have to exchange currency? bear money to draenor money?
The water in Azeroth makes you shit gold.
Tass Александр there are you speak only warlocks understand demonic and if you try to speak to another faction it comes out as random but pronounceable gibberish
+Tass Александр Actually LOLed at this
Because game mechanics.
I was like leave tirion alone he have done more than any hero ever
not gonna lie I actually got super excited when I heard Tirion get chosen as the fourth horsemen. like OH SHIT WE GET TIRION TO FIGHT ALONG SIDE HIM!?!
But yeah the power of the light is a hell of a thing. I hope the Silver Hand doesn't retaliate against us. But I wouldn't blame them we tried to revive one of the greatest heroes and the hero who delivered the final blow to Arthas shattering Frostmourne.
Yeah, I mean his father was the Horsemen before him. It's fitting that he is the new one.
Same. When Lich King mentioned Tirion, I was like,"Oh come on. Guy gave more then anyone and you want to raise him as the leader for the four horsemen?!" Ironic twist of fate that Darion would share dad's fate :o but better him then Tirion.
it was better if tirion was a horesman , tirion could actualy do something usefull in this expansion , beccause now EVERYBODY has the mighty assbringher bla bla
tirion would wake up look around get a wtf face and then pray for the light to kill him
Man...i picked the wrong class lol
ikr?
Monk order hall campaign is... underwhelming to say the least.
Yeah, Monk was suuuuppperr anti climactic compared to DK
Phantom Gaming I havnt done any thing past getting the dread blades, so no spoilerino`s!
I enjoyed the monk one for what it was, the artifact quests were pretty awesome and unique.
Well shit that was cool. Got to love adding drama to the DKs again and now they seemed to have pissed off the Alliance, Horde, and the entire Paladin class.
Sylvanas. And the red dragon flight. And the mages kind of.
TL;dW: "Let's do what the Lich King says. What could possibly go wrong?"
its not Arthas anymore but Bolvar, he obviously is not such a dickbag like Arthas was with the LK persona.
And the Lich King isn't forcing them, they're _choosing_ to do so. LK is like an advisor.
The LK is The LK. There's no "We" only "I", regardless of whom sits under the crown. He's still the same manipulative mastermind he always was, he's using the ebon blade for his ends, which by sheer coincidence happen to be ours too for now (defeating the legion). It will undoubtedly turn on us the moment we deal with the legion, you can be sure of that
Ackbar Reserve
How do you know?
They should do a class quest like green fire to,let dks get their own steed like the horsemen
bob drenan It would make sense. We diiiiiid retrieve 5 saddles.
the new karazhan mount midnight has the same model as the one from darion
it would be cool but they probably wont end up doing it, blizz likes to make content that all players of all classes can see.
bob drenan BLIZZAAAARD! HIRE THIS MAN/WOMAN/CHAIR/ALIEN/WHATEVER! He/she/it has really good ideas!
bob drenan I'm here from the future to confirm that this happened =)
Illidan: What have you sacrificed?!
Deathlord: Sit down, it will take a while.
cant help but call the " deathlord" of the death knights " edgelord" of the ebonblade :P
I think the demon hunters are taking our edgelord status :
Of course. We sacrificed everything. What have you given?
What have we given? Our lives, and afterlives, to forever be damned
Just Death Knights x Demon Hunters (such cute couple)
The Edgelord of the Ebonblade plus his Four Cringemen.
Thank you! I got stuck for so long. Most of the other guides are not narrated which makes them hard to follow. Your WoW work is worth a "Legendary" title.
>Vol'jin makes Sylvanas warchief because he heard her name in "whispers"
>Sylvanas does some shady power-hungry business in Legion
>Giant Nightmare Eye implies Sylvanas will be the one to free the Old Gods
>Lich King Bolvar got himself a new pet and is using him to control the Ebon Blade
Boy I can't wait for Wrath of the Bitch Queen + Call of C'thun
"Giant Nightmare Eye implies Sylvanas will be the one to free the Old Gods" What the fuck are you talking about?
I believe his refering to the quote "the hour of her 3rd death will usher are coming"
rdogg114 But Sylvanas has already died 3 times.
This turned more accurate than it should have been.
@@flowonthego yea
I think it was a test, to see if the Ebon Blade would actually try.
he never really chose tirion. he knew the light would never allow it. he was testing darion all along.
A little annoyed there is no evidence of the attack in lights hold chapel.
Nobbel, I absolutely love your videos! My favorite part of the game is the lore, and you do such a great job at telling it!!! Please keep the videos coming!
Death Knights are way cooler and more powerful the Demon Hunters.
The OG edgelord :D
Arthas vs Illidan
I always remember it as the battle of the edgelords.
Darion has such a cool voice. Love it. Keep up the good work, Nobbel!
27:39 i fucking lost it the guy in the back ground trying to fly
hey Nobbel, you got such a talent for these video's, know that I don't even play WoW and my only link with it is from hearthstone and yet your videos are amongst my favourite on UA-cam. thank you for everything you have done.
Out of loop, what's the context with Ebon Blade serving the new Lich King?
ua-cam.com/video/lSdJUyo6gZc/v-deo.html
Thank you very much! :)
Warlock OH campaign! Please?
As a Warlock main, I support this.
i found warlock campaign disappointing :(
Yeah it was nowhere near as good as this one.
I Gul'dan Approve this comment
The warlock one is so lame, we do nothing interesting,
Would have never enjoyed that scenario without you as I do not have time to lvl up every class ! Thank you so much and keep being awesome 👌🏻
I'm a paladin main but seeing that there is a chance of Tirion to have come back to the story once again excites me ALOT! or at LEAST in that scenario where the light defends the tomb, have Tirion Spirit rise and say a couple of wise words to encourage not only the Death Knights but also the Paladins defending his tomb to not hold this intrusion against them and work hand in hand together against the legion just like his old speech after the DK starting zone... and maybe, just maybe, himself saying something along the lines of "now its my time to rest and its time for you!"
so many missed opportunities blizzard...
You do know that the order hall campaigns are not finished right? This is not all we get...
David Uzsak
In regards to Tirion becoming a death knight i am against it just like everyone else; however what i wanted to see personally is him coming up as a ghost and stating the reasons why he can not be a death knight and why he can not help any more and just want to rest like his fellow paladins (Uther) BUT he will be there to guide us and show us the true meaning of coming together and even maybe showing Darion the true meaning in becoming a great leading force of redemption even as a leader of the horsemen and death knights order... just thinking about it gives me the feels to be honest.
There are way more important things than retaliation right now.
It’s thing I like about WoW is every character has an in depth story, and Nobell is gracious enough to tell them to us :)
king jeoffrey? seems like someone has been watching too much game of thrones
Wow Jedi same i love the books and show its great
its an awesome series dude.
that was awesome! i'm happy you are doing this for us, i would never have seen it otherwise
I don't get this how can the horsemen see the saddle of invincible? I mean its in the name guys comon...
invisible and invincible are 2 different things..that joke has NEVER been good.
Yes, Invincible. Not invisible
except that you just completed the joke, mate
That unfunny joke died with Wrath. Stop beating an undead horse.
Tristan Milner I don't understand it either, how can anyone see invincible?
a truly epic order hall indeed. Can't wait to see ALL order hall campaign and their ending
Holy crap the Lich King is in this I can't wait to do this now
how do you not know this hes shown up in other campaigns too....
I haven't played that much yet not to the point I've seen him
Thank you so much for deciding to do these. :)
It's kinda hard to find a lot about these campaigns on the intrawebs. :p
Reason why Highlord isnt at Light's hope chapel. He's offline because he played for 18 hours straight.
That isn't it. Trollbane was there. He/She didn't want to fight Trollbane.
Death Knight quests have always been my favorite.
this same order hall quests is for all specs right? and that arthas thingy do we only see him as frost?
yep
i didnt do the undercity quest line on my blood dk
damn so its frost related..
Jayden - I did it on my Blood DK.
You put so much effort into your videos, it is appreciated!
What is that ending. What is the Lich King talking about ? Who is "He" ? Death ? God ? The player ? Although i dont think they would want to break the 4th wall that badly
Lich king probably ?
Well, now that's it's been about 4 years. It might be this Jailer guy I keep hearing a lot about. I don't play WoW so don't take me word for it.
I had to rewatch this video to refresh my memory on who nazgrim was. I thought i knew who he was but i wasn't sure so thank you for covering it.
This is truly the most edgy expansion for DKs so far.
Out of all the ones I witnessed, that being Rogue, Warrior, and DK this is by FAR the best one.
Oh of course they were not going to let their uber super sayan holy paladin get resurected as a death knight or anything ... come on now, it's obvious he's coming back eventualy like a god damned angel or something ...
Sad thing is it might have made for a neat twist and undo all the mary sueness they infused into that character during wrath.
the order hall campaigns and the artifacts just have so much lore cant wait until you do all of them
Question why didnt the dk steal trions body go to there order hall then rezz him
Same result I think woulda happened.
The light can't do shit in Ebon Hold, so no, I don't think the same would have happened. But I don't think the light would let us take him.
Resurrection of Tirion wasn't the true goal.
Because the Light probably wouldn’t have let them do that either.
I enjoyed this for the good editing and the visual aids helped a lot.
Instead of Nazgrim and Tirion, why not Grom and Uther!!?!?!? Would've been freaking amazing!
tbh i was kinda hoping in varian for some reason XD
That would've been badass!!
They probably went with more recent characters. Nazgrim died 2 expansions ago and Tirion was the Khadgar of WotLK. Uther may have had some role but he was dead before WoW. Same with Grom. Not to mention we already got a "second" Grom in WoD.
There is not that much left of him. ^^
Amazing quest line, great content. Excellent job Nobbel!
Lore-wise, what race is the most "deathkinghty"
dwarves, forsaken, and orcs are pretty good fits
forsaken are already dead so they're used to being dead, but lorewise forsaken dk is kinda silly, as they have died twice.
dwarves are a pretty good pick because they're already strong and used to frost (dun morough)
and orcs were the first DKs, while not the same as current dks they WERE the first.
draenei also sync pretty good with dk considering how faithful they are to the light, it's kinda messed up since now they are all about shadow death unholy etc.
blood elves are pretty good because of the scourge invasion of silvermoon.
The first death knights were orc souls put into human corpses by Gul'dan, so human.
Depends what you mean by "most deathknighty." In the lore, there's more human death knights than any other race, but the first death knight was an orc (Teron Gorefiend).
Gnomes.
You really have a way with these. Great presentation and structure, really enjoyed this video. I wish you could do these for all the campaigns. xD
My god Death Knights are really.. evil. I hope the other classes do something about the minions of the Lich King.
yeah start a war with a potential allied faction while the legion knock on our gates. dont we got enough problems with sylvannus and the nightmare as is?
we will save that for when the legion is dealt with
Death Knights aren't really evil.
So was the illidan oh w8 no he wasn't.
Constantly check your channel for uploads dude :D Thanks for the content , keep up the work! Lots of love
this makes me sad
Siouxsie the Banshee, man I love that Blizz puts in little references like that every now and then
am i the only one who finds wierd that everybody is ok whit them being resurected?
outrage is for the living
im honestly annoyed by whitemane and Nazgrim as part of the 4 horsemen, i don't really see why whitemane would join you, she hates the undead with a burning passion
+MrCooljeppe i thought about it too it seemed strange but there is always the chance the lich king helped "persuade" them
i doubt they are using mind control (yet).
We know that souls go somewhere in death and when resurrected they arent exactly the same as on life, thats why Darion said "Death has a way of quelling the madness of the mind..."
The fact that Whitemane feels like there is no atonement for her indicates the she now sees her past actions as wrong.
Nazgrim on the other hand is an Orc and was a warrior and if somebody hates demons enough to put aside complaints about resurrection is an orc
You can call bullshit and bad writting but i think that thats their angle and not some lich king uga buga mind control again
It is a little odd but I think it may also not be entirely their own feelings but rather the necromancy affecting their viewpoints, influencing them. Nazgrim I buy entirely however. He's an orc, he hates the legion for corrupting his people, and it gives him an excuse to keep on fighting things. The others seem to have at least some sense of unfinished business to influence their sudden undead state
The Lich King talking to your character at the end was epic. I did not know he served as a second voice to question your path.
That was a little disappointing, I wanted to see Tirion as a death knight
It is quite interesting how intricate the storylines in Legion are. With all that is going on right now, I bet that someone will be able to create a detail timeline of what went on after the events of Legion ends and a new expansion comes to take it's place.
THIS! This is why I hate Order Halls, and prefer the superior Garrison system...
Having a Coold and Enjoyable RP moment? Good, just "try" to ignore the other 200 players running clouding your screen, the other 50 players pretending they're having sex using the [Foot Ball], the other 100 standing on tables, features, or NPCs.
Oh man! This campaign gave me goosebumps all the time!
Yo seriously, Blizzard better give us Paladins a chance to strike back. Those cowardly Death Knights struck while we were defending the Priests temple and laid hands on Lady Liadrin.
We must have Retribution!
Tirion died like a bitch and so will your entire class DKS 4 LIFE
isn't there a class hall quest that brings you to the four horsemen because they owe the pallys.
sick roleplay m8
After all one of the specs is named Retribution. ;)
it's the Ashbringer secret appearance questline that brings the paladin in front of the Four Horseman, and they infuse their power to create it
This was an amazing video, thank you for the amazing half hour :D
Nothing but absolute coolness and badassness for the Death Knights. I'd expect nothing less than that from the Order Hall quests, and we were NOT disappointed by Blizzard. This will definitely be one of my favorites as well.
Daaayum! That's an awesome Order Hall Campaign! :-D
your videos are always amazing Nobbel, you really research and show the lore with great details. keep it up mate!!
Man I love just how into this all Nazgrim is 😂 He is just having a fun time wielding a weapon again. It’s clear that death and resting in peace was not for him. His purpose for existing was on the battlefield!
wow, this is amazing! cant wait to see the priest order hall quest! :D
I am so glad that I started to play my DK again. I cannot wait to do all these quests myself!
Amazing job Nobbel!! I love your videos a lot. I can't wait to finish this order hall on my death knight!
Loved the video Nobbel87 :) I look forward to seeing you review and play them all.
I just love the simplicity of Koltira's plotline: "I was in jail. What did you expect? Weird experiments and me ending up as some sort of fat dumb abomination? Seriously... I'm disappointed in you High Lord.... /facepalm"
I love your knowledge about world of Warcraft lore. Keep it up.
Love your channel man its the most informative one I've found(And I've found a good few)
i really like the dk order hall quest and im so happy you took the time to tell the tales Thank you.
awsome job like always Nobbel ... i like to see all the others as well.
