It is not only to promote him, they should place a special manager on him to harness all his skills. Van Perse is someone that can really assist him to bring out all his potential. That is what is killing most Manchester United players. They only just used them without adding more skills or bring out the players potentials.

Another one from La Carringhton... how do they do it time and time again? It seems like every other season good/decent striker comes though the youth ranks.
- Frazier Campbell, Danny Welbeck, Macheda, Will Keane, James Wilson, Marcus Rashford, Mason Greenwood, and now Ethan Wheatley.
Although its very early to tell, he seems like he ticks a lot of boxes.
With Martial leaving in the summer, he may have a path to the 1st team for those cup games next season.

You know thr biggest difference is the amount of goal cha ces this team creates, the tempo they with(constant high low high), everyone supports each other.
Whereelse the snr team is opposite of those traits.
Anyone know that if ETH has more influence on the academy teams and his football is being more played and followed here. Im thinking its perhaps a reason why the academy team is doing well since he got in.
If ETH had an influence on the academy team then the first team will be playing the same way. The academy has always had proper coaches, nothing to do with ETH, he’s a garbage coach. Can’t even play good against championship teams. Don’t be fooled by him all of a sudden “giving youth a chance” he’s only doing that to tug on the heart strings of Man Utd fans who have an affinity for youth promotion. The truth is, Man Utd will always promote youth players. We did under Jose and we’ll do it after ETH, under a better manager who knows what they’re doing.
