My grandfather went to Finland to support what we call our brothers (Finland), and from what I can understand (til this day, he gets tears in his eyes when he thinks about it, so he refuses to talk about it) he came home from Finland without two of his best friends (they died)... Here in Sweden, we had a saying roughly translated as "Finland's enemies is our enemies"... Alot of people wanted to join into the war...

My point was that Swedish and English are much closer in pronouncing than Finnish and English. So ofcourse its easier to pronounce natural english for native swedish speaker. And I dont mean writing with pronounce, I mean talking. Im sure finns do understand english pretty good these days!
