Thanks for sharing! I came here to see Marsden. Got hooked on him after watching The Sandbaggers.
So I'm not alone in this world 😂
As with all good twists I didn't see it coming. Thanks for uploading.
milly Haha.. 🎪...You’re welcome 👍
But that wasn’t a twist that was just something we could never even have thought of.
Post-Neil Burnside/pre-Adam Dalgliesh Roy Marsden playing the best of both worlds here.
Great episode!!
This episode is one of the best I have ever seen. Thank you for the upload
Cheers Michael - I’m happy you enjoyed this episode. Ace isn’t it! Happy Easter.
I was absolutely unable to call the turn! How imaginative of the writer! When they mentioned the word "circus", I thought of a series of acts that could've been employed for this tricky job, but I was struck dumb to witness THIS ..
Raja Sarkar Great spot! Circus work was mentioned when discussing his resume’.
Interesting from start to finish. Enjoyed it. Thanks
Thank you for posting this series.
Rest in Peace Dudley Sutton.
Ah hah! A good old closed room mystery. I'd never thought of that explanation.
The police would have had to x-ray the culprit.
Or ahem, wait for change!
Thanks for the upload.
Roy Marsden looked the same and wasn't that Chalky from Lovejoy?
Another fine character actor. Sorry I can't remember his name.
Thanks for the upload. Much appreciated during my "social distancing". 👍
Rebecca Selley Social distancing sucks eh? That’s right, Dudley played ‘Tinker’ in Lovejoy.
@@TheClockStruckThirteen Yes Steve, this social distancing sure does suck. I was in hospital last month with what turned out to be pneumonia. They suspected Coronavirus and I was tested for it. Thankfully it was negative.
What really upset my daughter and I was they'd put me down as DNR in my paperwork.
I'd never agreed to it but the paper work was dated and time signed. This was at a time when I was hallucinating and delerious.
The acronym for DNR is currently being changed to RESPECT. Kind of ironic.
I'm just grateful to have got out alive.
I have 2 sons and 4 daughters and a granddaughter and grandson.
A brother and both my parents.
That's a lot to live for. I just can't see or hug any of them as in vulnerable category.
Sorry to go on. My cats are good company but not great at conversation.
Thanks for the uploads, they're helping me stay sane 😊
Rebecca Selley Wow...Sounds such a horrific experience! Well done for getting through it all Rebecca.
Dudley Sutton played Tinker in Lovejoy.
I thought it was going to be a balloon or something like that.
I was thinking they should order an x-ray and low and behold, I was right! Haha, love this stuff. Cheers.
Love the cars ! Only thing missing was " We're the Sweeney
son....and we haven't had any dinner. '
Good entertainment, sounds are clear, picture quality, A 1.! Except the police Do-Not, bring two people together in the same room.!
classic Dudley ....great !
I nominate myself as chief inspector as I had a thought that the murder weapon could have been swallowed by the Aussie when police could not find it anywhere else.
David Snell Lol 😂 Congratulations you’ve been appointed 👮♂️
@@TheClockStruckThirteen Thank you! Please courier my appointment letter and I will sign my acceptance and return to you the same day. 🕵🏼♂️
@@wordyword.298 Maybe he enjoyed the taste of gunpowder on metal. I tend to eat my favourite food quickly too and then regret when my plate is empty. 🤭
Love how they never let him have his lawyer 🤣😂🤣
Jeremy Clyde doing an uncanny impression of Charles Dance.
The tunnel Vision, the gall, the rudeness and persistence - this inspector is beyond stupid. I can’t believe how terrible he is at his job. I can’t believe he’s denying the man his counsel. So glad he got away with it - the inspector was a complete tool!
One of the best. And the killer was a far more pleasant character than the Inspector, pardon, Chief Inspector.
Really? I thought the killer was a smug asshole.
@@kev3d He was - and even so he was more likeable than the 'Chief Inspector'
thank you :) love 14:15 lol
Wery nise programm 👍
i did not expect that he could of killed him with a arse shot
Brilliant
No trace of the murder weapon..why dont they look behind the few hundred books in the bookcase?
Ino ! LOL! That's what went through my mind :D Old 70's. They never noticed back then :D
They should have X-Rayed him at the time !
That's what I thought! We were right! Haha, cheers.
Dig that soundtrack!
Still stays in my head decades on.
That was a bit hard to swallow.
Great Episode thanks for the upload Steve..,have you got the other Tales of the Unexpected episode with Roy Marsden called The Mugger ?
Tony Driscoll from Fools&Horses 🤣
Every time I see Jeremy Clyde, he creeps me out!
The suspect did not even get patted down lol
He ate the gun.
Syndrums all over this 🤣
2:21 think bike
Possibly the worst background music in the history of television!
