It would have indeed However, it also would’ve been fruitless. What I see on my stick, in my environment, may not be enough or could be too much for your environment. It’s a variable scale with many factors to consider That’s why this is a “how to” get to the base line video. Good luck
Gosh it’s been so long I would say just regular Mercon ATF fluid. I usually go by the book so whatever the book says sorry I couldn’t be of more help on this it’s Been a while since I’ve actually had the vehicle it’s gone now
It would be so nice if you would have shown how much of the stick was wet showing how filled it was after you were done

35 mm at 110 F seems to be pretty good.
110 at bottom fluidpan
Thank you for this video. What kind of transmission fluid did you use?

@@shortCUT207 That leads me to my next question. How did it go after adding more fluid?
This helps me tremendously either way because it looks like I might be replacing the torque converter
@@FistandantiIus it ran just fine !
we ran it for another year and a half and we traded the vehicle in!👍🏼
Hi, thx for the info. Can you tell me if you check fluid level with engine running or off?
Transmission fluid gets checked with the engine running and warming/warmed up
But not worked (such as running to the store) good luck
@@shortCUT207 thx for the info. Filled it up with engine running. Transmission workes fine again. 👍
