You are so kind to make this for your mom! a steam juicer makes easy work of making homemade cranberry juice! So, so easy and fast! You can also add apples or any other fruit you like with cranberries. The left over berries have enough flavor to make jam, fruit strips or roll-ups using a bit of stevia for sweetener. Feeding the left-overs to the chickens works as well, ☺️☺️! Thank you for the video!
Most beautiful voice, I can listen to you all day long. I just love the way you make it, I will definitely make mine exactly like this, rather than putting the berries in the jars the way the others did, it's not wrong, but I rather doing it you way. Thank you for your knowledge and wisdom in this process. Beautifully done. Blessings from my heart
What I liked about your video compared to others they just dumped in their berries instead of sorting and washing before dumping in the pot!!! Thank you and God Bless
I love this video. It is so nice seeing juice being made without a juice steamer. Thanks so much... I will be trying this!!! I constantly am scouring discount produce stores. I am going to get some for dirt cheap and make lots of this. You are right about the sweetener... it can be added later. Cranberry is acidic enough it will store well. Thanks so much. :)
I did make sure to share this vid to my thrifty friends on facebook... then I saved it on pinterest as well. Sharing is caring! :) You have a great day.
Does anyone know what type of stand was used to put over the pot and strain the cranberries, and where it can be purchased? I have tea towels but would love to get a stand to hold it over the pot. Most videos show them hanging the tea towels from the cabinets. Thank you for such an informative video.
So Cool, Vickie! I have that canning book but never have tried this one. Thanks for sharing and now I need to go to Sam's Club to see if they have cranberries!
I bought a juicer on sale a couple of years ago and I use it for cranberries, grapes & cherries, so far it has worked great, it skips a step( lazy ) love your videos!
I'm planning to use mine 8n muffins. I found recipe to use up leftover cranberry sauce. I didn't know there was such a thing as leftover cranberry sauce. 😋
I️ sometimes have to buy that all natural no sugar for a UTI from a brand called R.W Knudsen its $7.99 for a small bottle! I️ need to do this! Thanks for the video
Beautiful, I too made some two weeks ago, for a homemade uti natural soap. The soap came out beautifully and works well. My only question is how long can I store the juice in my jars?
I believe that the canning jar lid companies would say 18 months. I would feel comfortable using this at least 2 years, especially if you follow strict canning guidelines, but I encourage you to do your research and make your own decision.
You know, I'm not sure. My mother would drink it for UTI's, and I know some people that drink it for anything like that, but I would suggest researching it, and maybe just try it. I'm not sure that it would be harmful in any way.
Actually. Not. Jam. And yes, there is such a thing as juice. Not sure where you are located, but in the United States, it is available pretty much anywhere you shop. This is juice only. Not thickened. Please go troll someone else.
Looks so yummy!!!! I total love watching you can your Cranberry Juice. Wishing you a wonderful amazing day.
Wow Vickie, I did not think of juice! Very good idea especially for a diabetic!! You have just opened my eyes, thank you!

Nice. Would you consider this to be concentrated? I know when I make my grape juice it is and needs to be mixed with water to drink it.

This was made in a water bath canner.

Even the natural sugars can add up for my mother, so this way she can find an option that works for her.
I love your stove
Thank you! I do too 🤗
Hey there, how long can you keep these in the refrigerator/freezer?
I'm not sure, as they don't last long, but I would imagine about the same as jams.
Thank you! ^_^
Why do you have to heat it to 190 degrees for 5 minutes? That would be useful information.
another great thing for UTI's is taking alka seltzer, just regular not the flu one.
Thank you ...your mom is lucky..
❤️💕
Taking D-Mannose has changed my life regarding UTI's.

Actually. Not. Jam. And yes, there is such a thing as juice. Not sure where you are located, but in the United States, it is available pretty much anywhere you shop. This is juice only. Not thickened. Please go troll someone else.

Hi Vickie, what did you do with the cranberries once you finished with canning up the juice from them?
I gave them to the chickens. You could also add to the compost. I'm not sure if they would be good for anything else.
