FYI this set features the Trueno AE86 from the legendary anime Initial D. It's basically about a kid (Takumi) who does Tofu deliveries up and down a mountain that's used my street racers and he gets involved in the scene using his delivery car (the Trueno). The car gets upgraded over the course of the series as does his driving skill.....it's basically awesome and has a great soundtrack.

This set is actually really impressive, I hadn't heard of Cada before but I'm definitely going to check them out, thanks Jake.
If you really want to check them out then get the CaDA Italian Sportscar (C61043W) in 1/8 scale. This is one of the best technic sets I ever build. Also the CaDA Humvee in 1/8 scale is absolutly awesome even tho I dont like military sets.
Cada has really stepped their game up! I love their products!
I've been looking for a creator expert scale ae86 moc with instructions for a long time, I will definitley consider picking this up, a lot of their other sets on their website look great as well. Thanks for sharing this!

As a stupid Initial D fan, I kinda bought this set on an impulse and have been looking for reviews like this to appease my possible buyer's remorse 😅 I don't think I'll be getting that though after watching this, so thanks for the great review!

Not sure if i missed it in the video but what was the reason you never installed the lights?.
You have to take parts of the model apart again to fit the motors and lights. I didn’t fancy taking it apart as soon as I’d finished building it

This review really helped me out though I do have one question that still makes me indecisive. I'm planning to try and get this just to revisit my childhood with my many number of sets I've built as a kid but I looked at the options and would like to know, Did you have to buy the motors separately or did you buy the motorized version and it came with the detailed pieces such as the Toyota engine and tofu? I just simply needed clarification cause I was confused when You said you got the non motorized version yet got the motors as an extra. Overall great video and I hope you have a nice day!

Total miss on the “Initial D” reference as this is what the product is about. Great review though. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
i personally disagree and the least amount of stickers in a set the better.
sure you can put them over multiple pieces but in a few years the sticker may start to peel off and you may have to put tape over it or something
