I like the overall scent. It smells good and is easy to wear but a little overpriced even at discounters. I got lucky and found a 237ml bottle at Ross Dress for less for 49.99. At that price for the big bottle, it was a no brainer.
Man I love the drydown of this fragrance. The opening is nice but it’s a bit harsh at first, although I like the masculine vibes. I’m ok with it because it seems it was intended that way for the overall mix to smooth out properly.
It’s nothing ground breaking. But it smells so good, something about it is very inviting. Longevity is average on me , but it’s something I enjoy reapplying. Def my fave blue from polo thus far. Totally agree that it lives in the the same space as BDC. Great take brother !
They toned down the ambroxon it was crazy sharp. Like the mango in it smells amazing. Deep blue smells like they took blue EDT and Sauvage and made a baby m.
@@kickballs Deep blue has the mango. Blue parfum would be PERFECT if it had the mango note. Deep blue opening is just terrible. It’s dries down ok but that ambroxon is just over powering

I like this one and i find OG polo blue as interesting as a brick wall. But like you said there is a sophistication to this fragrance that puts it nicely on the suits arena, but you can also wear it to go to a party in the evening. Solid, i love the decant i got, I would not purchase the full presentation b ut it is a marked improvement on the OG Polo Blue.
I get some similarities to Deep Blue, not necessarily in smell but vibe off of the original polo blue…however, I feel like it’s Deep Blue’s older more successful brother whereas Deep Blue is still the college kid having fun and Polo Blue is the successful grown man. I liked it quite a bit. Bought it on sale at Macy’s.
I have olibanum(franckimcense serrata) essencial oil, it smells nothing like it smells in curch when it burns, nor it smells like the resin, it is sharp, green, a little piny, peppery(it has a lot of pinine component), only in the back you get the smell of raw resin
I'm going to have to try it since you said it has pink pepper in it. Found I like peppery fragrances. That's like azzaro hot pepper is one of my favorites

It’s smells like smooth woody citrus clean soap. Its my new signature scent. Living in a hot climate I need clean and soapy scents.

With this it smells like they took polo deep blue and perfected it. Made it smooth and a little richer. Love it.

Gotta give a try to Invictus Platinum. It has this minty/absinthe take on the Invictus DNA that I'm really loving right now.
