I'm from Slovakia and I can tell you that in my country is not so easy to get real Neca figures. If you can afford one it will have a price too. For example a standard figure in the US is about 30, the same figure will cost here around 40. The shops are working with limited amount and they don't a great variety (this is how I missed the HK aerial). If you want order from US or UK in that case the prices will go way too high (postage around +20, and there are case when you get extra tax on itt around +15/20). In the end the figure will cost you 60+. As I'm not a collector specifically but I like figures, my little "collection" is a mixed bag which I don't mind and I love my Terminator and Alien ko-s.
This is really nice. It sucks that many people cant get real NECA figures, but I'm really glad knock-offs exist so everyone can enjoy them.
@@j.epstein7723 As I see the ko figures are basically not really ko-s. Same material, same mold, what differs is the painting and a little bit they are off in quality (sometimes the real ones too). I think these figures came from the same factory but they are rejects or something like that.
Here i'm Ecuador, south américa, NECA figures are twice as expensive as in the USA. Most figures cost 80 dollars.The knockoff figures cost 40 or 50 bucks
You probably already got this, but, you have the clip on the belt backwards. The 3 picks goes with the grapple. The 2 close to each other goes with the grip, and one pick goes into the trigger/guard. The 2 picks of the clip goes with the belt. When you get that straightened out, everything fits perfectly.
For a knock-off figure, I expected it be really bad. It's actually not too shabby though. Given the $15 or $16 price point, it can serve as an experiment, which isn't a bad thing. The worst things about the figure are the mouth area and Batman's right eye. The mouth area makes him look as if he's sick or perhaps, he has some kind of skin condition. His right eye looks as if it had other ideas in mind and it decided to hightail it. lol! All in all, it's not a bad Batman figure. I was expecting a train wreck to be honest. Luckily, that didn't turn out to be the case. I'm sure that someone out there who is skilled at painting figures can give this one a pretty darn good makeover so to speak. Otherwise, thanks as always Spot. I really appreciate the hard work!
Sculpt still looks really good. For a painter, he'd probably look amazing
The good thing about these kos if you're a customizer you can make these figures look better then the originals repaint accessories etc..and if you have a concept idea instead of buying the original and paying top dollar just to take it apart grab one of these for your custom.... Great review keep them coming... I've been curious about this one for a while I'm going to pick one up and custom it
i got some neca aliens, replaced the legs, gave it a full repaint and made the unreleased cancelled JOKER alien ^_^ its great when you can buy cheap for parts
@@derangedband It sure is I've done the same thing lol... like why pay aftermarket scalper prices for a figure you plan on taking apart if you can find a similar ko I'm going with the cheaper option lol 👍🏽👍🏽
Authentic doesn't have a wired cape. Besides the fabric and sort of wonky posture it's pretty close to the real ones which I'm looking at right now. Got the ones I have from toysrus myself so I know they're legit

That's not a bad KO at all really close to the original. It is probably worth the price of it by far.

How do you tell the difference between the knock off and the real one?
Do you still have the box for it? a lot of the time a Knockoff NECA won't have the company name on the bottom of the box by the barcode

I actually bought a ko batman begins figure last year it was fairly decent, came with googly eyes and jaundice around the mouth.. I later bought a real one on eBay later on and compared it to the ko, I found that it was actually smaller in scale to the real one hands, height etc..
Can you review more of these Neca or other known action figure brand bootlegs??? And make it a full fledged series?
I ordered the 1989 one for $12 I havnt received it yet but from what I've seen it is decant enough for customizing. The Mafex ones look pretty decant decant.
Has nothing to do with Batman but it would be cool if neca would release a Johnny 5 figure from the short circuit movies. The articulation alone would be awesome!
I not even sure if I have real or ko especially if I order off eBay... unless I buy off the store...I do try scooping up the Chris Reeve Superman and Adam west Batman since those break very easy but I try getting multiples if there price low. Still not sure if I should buy ko movie turtles although I do have the comic versions.

This video has come a week and a half after I got mine aswell as the bootleg reeve superman. I'm happy with both, especially the superman. My 89 batman is a favourite cos mine looks good. I'd love to see a look at the bootleg mafex justice league normal batman figure bootleg.
Does this scale with the Mcfarlane Toys DC Multiverse Batman?
I ordered this on ebay and i didn't know it was a knock off, and I paid 30 dollars for it...😔 I also ordered a neca dark knight joker for 30 bucks and guess what, he was a knock off too, and he literally disintegrated when I opened it.

Yeah ...I try getting alot of those since the original breaks easy and it's my favorite character. I be curious to see a review on that figure too... especially compared to the original and the ko and how they differ... I'm wondering if the ko might actually be better since the original breaks easy.

It's so sad we have to deal with fake/bootleg/clone/class A copy on top of looking out for the lowest prices of the genuine stuff.
I urge everybody not support and buy these fakes even if they're quite detailed and quite good (it's may seem a good deal initial but you will not have your peace and want the genuine want later anyway) because I want to force these chinese companies to create their own brand and company, do their own sculpts, mechanism, interchangeable accessories, if they are that good at manufacturing these (they even have not too bad painting) at their prices so that the top makers will also lower their price but still have amazing quality (or better).

They do, look at fondjoy. The batffleck is amazing, way better than mcfarlane's bvs batman. And I actually like these clones. I can obtain these old, rare figures and not have to fork out ridiculous amount of money. Also, great to do custom/mods and not have to worry about breaking the pricy original.

I haven't found any definitive proof on this, but my theory as to why they have the copyright info despite them obviously being fake is that the Asian factories that made them back when they were on store shelves & website have since lost the license, but they still have the molds for the figures, so under the radar & without the knowledge of the distributors & license holders, they make their own & sell them directly from the factories on the online market, hence why the paints & plastics are inferior as they'd be using their own & not ones supplied by the distributor.
