    I don't know why but finding these amazing interviews with Natalie Wood today, are very moving for me. RJ and their kids were customers of mine when I and my late partner owned a parrot store in West Hollywood, and when we moved to a new location, Natalie Wood came in by herself to see the birds, and lucky for me, there were no other customers there at the time...just me. I was almost shaking as she was to me the most beautiful woman I had ever seen. She was simply stunning, and so very nice and friendly, I could hardly talk with her, I was so enamored. She was a wonderful woman and I so wish she was still with us.

    • @Deborah-kz1bv
      @Deborah-kz1bv 5 років тому

      @Pauline Blundell
      How about giving the link. If you are going to call someone,
      " bitchy ", it would be nice, if you could prove it.

    • @Deborah-kz1bv
      @Deborah-kz1bv 5 років тому +2

      @Pauline Blundell
      Firstly: " a little late to the party " ? Newsflash Pauline, this is a UA-cam video. Not everyone watches the videos, and reads the comments, to said videos, at the same time. Go figure, huh.
      And, if you don't want people responding to your comments, after a certain period of time, then maybe you should remove them, so no one comments on them, after your deadline. It's not brain surgery, or rocket Science. . .
      And, quite frankly, I don't need, or want anything from you.
      I was intentionally fanning the flames of another person's comments, because, you never responded to their request, because, you don't have proof. You don't know anything about Natalie Wood.
      You are probably either jealous of her beauty, and charisma;
      or, you may be one of KD's minions, trying to paint Natalie in a negative light, to take the spotlight off him,and his filthy, dirty secrets.
      If you don't like Natalie, and, it's clear, you don't, why watch a video about her?
      You go to the videos,
      to talk trash about her, that's why.
      Your moniker should be Trashmouth Troll.

    • @Deborah-kz1bv
      @Deborah-kz1bv 5 років тому +2

      @Pauline Blundell
      You are the perfect example, of the pot calling the kettle black.
      And, you " dreary " sound like you are the one interested in some woman on woman action.

      In the 1979 Interview, Natalie told some cameramen, that were whispering in the background, that they were being distracting, and she seemed a little upset. However I do understand tbh, even if you can or can not hear the chatter, every person’s different, and for Natalie’s case she definitely seemed like she was having trouble on what to say next before asking the cameramen for some silence.

    That interviewer is to be applauded for doing his homework here. A smart interviewer should ALWAYS ask a question or two that amazes the interviewee (how did you know about that !!!). It shows the interviewee that they truely care about the person, so much so that they did their homework. They might even end up with scoop. Just LOOK at Natalie's reaction to him ask he asks the question. She is truely impressed that he knows these things.

      Martin Willoughby “beautiful” can be used to describe someone’s outward appearance, as well as their personality and heart. She’s been described as having a big heart and being kind all her life, not just beautiful on the outside. You could have assumed that, that’s what the original comment meant. You didn’t have to be negative and rude.

    Natalie was a very smart and talented woman, who had experienced an awful lot in her 42 years. One wonders where her career would have gone if she made it past that horrible night onboard the "Splendour" off Catalina. I get the sense she was at a crossroads, personally and professionally. BTW, who was the host? Research like that was extremely difficult pre-internet. And there were very few, if any, broadcast or cable channels devoted exclusively to Hollywood entertainment. It was mostly books, fan and trade magazines, and newspapers. Great stuff!

    ... For those that might not know. the interviewer was Brian Linehan, CityTv Toronto. InterWebs him if you like - had a great reputation in HollyWeird and he was so Good, SCTV in the 80's lampooned Him probably out of sheer respect ; )

    I wasn't going to comment, but something about her Death has always haunted me !
    Why Robert Wagner has never been brought to Justice, is a travesty !
    Especially when years later, the authorities called him a person of interest !
    I could never watch Robert Wagner after hearing the circumstances of her Death !
    R.I.P.
    Natalie Wood

    There was one scene in Last Married Couple where George Segal looks across the room at her and the way she looked just mesmerized me
