The 747 will ALWAYS be the "QUEEN OF THE SKIES" !! The A380 has no chance of equaling her storied history. The 747 started flying in 1969..She is even newer today with the dash 8.Airbus will be lucky to break even with the whole A380 project. That being said,...the 4 engine era will draw to a close soon,....Super efficient twins will see to that.
