I’ve found that writing them down by hand helps a lot too.

I treat lines like a new favorite song I just heard because I have habit of playing that same song over and over again lmao 🤣 it works though .

Been searching in all of you tube about acting videos. I just get more confused with with everybody else’s but yours. It’s short and direct to the point.

I agree that having a person or an app to read the other characters lines will help. But I would have liked to know a lot more about the science behind that. "Magic" isn't really an explanation and it made me a bit disappointed. I do use an app that I think is awesome. My theory is that it let's me react to what the other character is saying, at the same time as they are saying it, without me having to concentrate on reading that line. Then I can memorize what my character wants and thinks and make sense of WHY he is saying it. That is why it's so much easier to remember the lines.
I kinda do the same with monologues. I react emotionally to the previous sentence to connect that to the next sentence. It's still a lot of work though. Nothing magic about it.

which app is it that you use?

    •  21 день тому

@@PrivateUser737 I use an app called Script Rehearser. There is also another app called line learner that works similar.
