This guy needs to be fired and made example of. He is no good for the Catholic church or the poor. He has no place.

I want to take a moment to remember my kindergarten teacher.
She was a hard woman, she was until she spent a year with me. :)
This woman worked hard her whole life.
She lived in a small room not even large enough to house her trade. She woke up and went to sleep thinking of others. She had little to give, but she gave everything, she made investments in faith and love all her life with everything she had. Then one day she became wealthy beyond description.
Knowing that she gave you all everything she had to give. Let's not waste away on everyone just because of this one man.

It doesn't surprise me at all. Here in Germany there was a similar case with the Bishop of Limburg (city). He also invested millions from his diocese to invest in his new luxurious home.
Sell it; get a profit and then give to profit to poor.
The bishop in Germany spend 40x as much. That was for a whole historical complex though, not a shitty American house.

Catholism at it's Finest sit in mass and donate money and Couple Halleiluahs and it goes no where... If you really want to help the poor... volunteer at soup kitchens or events to help out or to donate items.
while that is one way too do it I give my aunt's Franciscan convent 1000 a year for their retirement the church does not pay for them and they don't qualify for social security so after 80 years of hard work for the lord I give directly to the convent for their care!
