- Grinderman jettisoned this music video from there unmanned rocket GRINDER1 on September 27th. GRINDER1 space rocket plans to spend one year orbiting earth taking measurements including atmospheric temperatures and the effects of solar flares on planet earth. Upon its completion it will return to planet earth reassemble as a rock robot blasting laser beams from its robot eyes at all neigh sayers and unbelievers before biodegrading into harmless space dust.
This is one of the most beautiful songs ive ever heard.

I was watching the intro of The Disappearance of April Jones, Channel 4 and suddenly I hear Nick Cave’s voice…I have just searched and found it is Grinderman.. Wow, what a beautiful, tragic, haunting song I’m never going to stop listening to this song now ❤️

I thought about this song and this video while I was watching the movie Gravity. Would have been good on the soundtrack considering Ryan was lost in space and her daughter had died on earth. This is a great song. Wish I could buy it someplace. No longer offered on the Grinderman web site.

Wow.I loved Grinderman 2 when it came out.Palaces Of Montezuma is no longer my favorite song.This one is damn beautiful.Why am I just finding it now?? I thought all the b-sides were simply remixes.Seriously,though ... This is Cave at his best.Wish it made the album.
Had the exact same experience. Montezuma was my favourite thing from Ginderman, but this is on another level!
