Smoke Signals is one of the most unique and important films in the story of American Cinema and a precursor to positive all native American stories today. Starring Adam Beach, Evan Adams, Irene Bedard, and Gary Farmer, masterfully directed by Chris Eyre who won the Audience Award as well as Filmmaker's Trophy at the Sundance Film Festival in 1998. The film was written by Sherman Alexie and was originally a short story, “The Lone Ranger and Tonto Fistfight in Heaven”.
