Is 4:56 to 5:11 a phrase from another song? It’s so damn melodic, jeez. I’m not trying to undermine that John could definitely improv that. It’s just, wow.
@@masxn_t2276 Oooo, I want to hear that. I tried searching but I'm not sure I can find the exact clip you are talking about. You think you could provide a link or a specific set of keyword searches?
It doesn’t remind me of any other song but it does remind me a bit of the outro of Vultures live on Pinkpop tbh ,but tbh that’s a very John mayer thing ,he does it a lot, maybe he got the idea from a different song but yeah I wouldn’t be surprised if he improvised it tbh bc he’s just the best at it
John really likes this song, obviously and for good reason, it's awesome.
He skipped it the night I saw him in 2017, I was so disappointed😅
one of the best version of Belief he has ever played
seriously one of the best ones
The song never get old, on repeat.
Everything from continuum is still good
Steve Ferrone is definitely feeling it more this leg of the tour.. great improvement!
Sharkey slaying it as always
Too much talent and looks for one person …it hurts to watch him. Such sweet pain 🥰🔥❤️

Check out his acoustic version of belief from the Wells Fargo event show in 2008 he does a similar octave solo that sounds brilliant✨

Normal good amp 2:35…Dumble/Two-Rock 2:54; sounds wicked!
Sharkey has always had bright/thin (bad imo) tone.
@@YeatzeeGuitar his tone ain’t bad at all when you see him live
@@keithremedy I thought it was bright and thin when I saw them in San Diego 🤷♂️
John never seems to get married as much as he pretends
