✈ Awesome RAF Typhoon ZK318 Arrival and Departure from London Suthend Airport

- Hello and welcome to SOUTHEND AVIATION!
We at London Southend got 2 special visitors today, 2 RAF Typhoons including the 100th Anniversary Liveried jet. I was able to catch both arriving and ZK318 (100th Anniversary) departing today. Hope everyone likes the footage I got and enjoys the ROAR from those EJ200s!

Ok The Typhoon Warbird has a pair of programmable Space Kestrel 750 pro plasmas , really tucking those Whittle boys away for four runs through the covers

i went to clacton air show - typhoon was there on the thursday - and in the evening at dusk the they had four planes covered in red L E D lights with fireworks displays at the end of each wing - it was awsome - the revenue it brings to the town exceeds the cost of putting it on - so - southend - learn from clacton and speak with tendring district council.
Ah that must have been the blades act (I think that's what they're called)
It's ironic that the typhoons flew from Southend airport for the Eastbourne air show when we no longer have a show in Southend thanks to our council.
Is a shame :(
At least Southend airport is open trying to get manston reopened but its dragging on got the green light to reopen but the anti airport group trying to get there way
We were in Eastbourne that week for Airbourne and so saw one of these on Saturday 18th August.
We used to have typhoon stay at manston for Eastbourne airshow and Belgian f16
Off they go, back home, for tea and medals.
I take it these are based at Southend for the Eastbourne Airshow?

I live in Southend, pretty much under the flight path, and getting to see the typhoons, BBMF etc is the highlight of my year.
Or was until the utter fuckwits in the council cancelled the air show.

Hopefully the Typhs will be back this year :)
