5:54 correction the hidden blade does not require the removeal of the ring finger as hayek used it with ease before losing his finger and it was only removed to prevent the risk the finger being severed 11:18 another correction shaun and rebecca werevin ac 2
Wrong on the hidden blade, to a degree. While true that Bayek and even Darius from AC:O did not need a severed finger to operate, there was a deeper reason to severing the finger. The middle finger was severed not only to prevent it from being accidentally done, it was also a sign of loyalty and complete dedication to the Brotherhood. It was done to show that the new Assassin was fully committed to the cause, and was reminded of what he or she signed up for whenever they would use the blade. The way the blade was operated was through a ring connected to the blade that was worn on the finger. The assassin would control the operation of the blade via the ring. The ring was connected to a thin cable that would trigger the extension and retracting of the blade. However, Altair himself noticed that this method of blade usage was inefficient, and it also was a good way to tell who was an assassin: simply look for that ring. Altair left musings about changing that method in his codex. Source: Assassin’s Creed The Essential Guide, 2019 edition.
I feel like they should've stuck with Bayek's story for the next installment in the series instead of scrapping him and starting again with Alexios and Kassandra. It's becoming tiresome to be invested in a protagonist in the series only to see them scrapped the next game. I really hoped that Bayek would get his own trilogy set in Ancient Egypt (Origins), Ancient Greece, and Ancient Rome as was rumoured back in 2016.
BTmethius I agree. Bayeks character was such a breathe of fresh air from protagonists like Jacob and Evie Frye or Arno Dorian. It’s such a shame that the people at Ubisoft decided to scrap such potential for characters that completely convolute the games canon. I really hope they revisit bayek in the future
@@nickroden9468 Exactly! It would've been nice to see some sort of progression to the story. I've still that the next AC game from the "Black Flag and Origins" development team will continue with Bayek.
No mate better is to be in Australia maybe an aboriginal assassin in the game oh and the vehicle will be a kangaroo or crocodile like as we using horses now we will use wallabies or crocs omg I think Australians will love this aussie idea. :)

God I love AC Origins. Big map, a ton of stuff to look at, and a very compelling story. Plus the Easter eggs are just super good. Now, Ac Odyssey is something from a different league. Even bigger map, even more stuff to look at. Content, that seems to never have an end, and the Easter eggs, including the puzzles are just breathtaking, and both are in my favourite place in time and space, Ancient Greece and Egypt. I am proud to be an AC fan, that geeks out once he sees Socrates, Pythagoras, Leonidas, Hippocrates, and Pericles, or Kleopatra, the Sphinx, the pyramids, and the Lighthouse of Alexandria.
This video is peppered with mistakes lmao 1. PoP Assassins ("Assassins", plural, not "Assassin" as he said in the video) was a co-op game, with two protagonists, only one of whom was female. The other was a man with a similar design to Altair. 2. Shaun Hastings was introduced in AC2, not Brotherhood. 3. Ezio is Italian, the Italian "J" is pronounced as a "Y", and there is no "Joo" sound in Italian, so them mispronouncing Shao Jun's name was probably intentional. 4. The pronunciation of Ratonhnhake:ton is so terrible that I don't know if they even tried (It's "Rah-doon-hah-gay-don") 5. I don't know whether or not Rogue is actually the shortest AC game, but if it is, the "7 memory sequences" don't make a difference toward that fact, since the first game ALSO has only 7 memory sequences. 6. "The film features a different protagonist but follows a similar narrative to the game"... what? It only holds bear bone similarities to the first game, and isn't remotely based on any of the game's individual narratives.
Such a misopportunity. Should've included the fact that Edward Kenway was the father of Haytham Kenway and thus the grandfather of Connor, the protagonist of AC3. Anyways love your humour and very entertaining spin to fact videos!
