Pral C...love your attitude! There are many young women like yourself who have hair loss so you are definitely not alone. The good part is when you dive in and as you said "embrace the next phase" you are young enough to try lots of different options. This could be the most enjoyable phase yet! Have fun with it!! The more open you are on your journey, the more others will respond positively to the new you. You may be the positive influence some other young (or old!) woman needs to steer her to the wonders of wigs! Let your light shine!
Can you tell me where you ordered the wigs?
Wigs over makeup. I have very little hair, and for a long time I wore scarves and hats, but I look better with hair. I feel a lot more normal in my wigs. And it's fun to change them up.
I change back and forth between wigs and scarves. On hot days a lightweight scarf is more comfortable. But in the a/c or the ohter-than-summer seasons my wigs are my go-to.
First time wig wearer, have been researching, watching videos. I am 70, n decided to invest in myself. Ordered 3 styles n cannot wait for them to arrive. I have learnt so much, in style, color n whatnots. Thank you Taz for all the positive energy.

I just turned 70! Had some wigs I bought 6 years ago, but in the last 6 months I'm really starting to take this seriously and learn more, and I'm going to venture out in public more with wigs. I really think when I've chosen a good style and color for me, they make me look better. Let's make this a new fabulous fad for us 70ers. :-)

Dear Martha...I can totally empathize with you...I’m 79 and have been wearing wigs off and on for years. I have scoliosis and all my life been self conscious about it. My natural hair as I was getting older was thinning out. Wearing a wig makes me look younger and more confident in myself. Most of the time no one knows I have a wig on and I really don’t care! Great tips! I just turned 60 and once the crying stopped I figured I just need to make the best of it. 😄 Confidence is a lot like natural beauty; if you were blessed with it at 20, you'll find it serves you well much later in life. Having struggled all of my life with a lack of both, it's not as easy to navigate aging or hair loss or any of life's challenges that time brings. But, I am working on it. 😊 Age brings wisdom and wisdom tells you that being true to oneself and being kind to others manufactures joy and inner peace and they in turn bring a type of beauty no magazine cover can match. Thank you for your giving spirit and inspiration. ❤

Yes, you are right! I AM PROUD to wear a wig! I tell this to everybody who whants to have my hair or hair cut. Number of woman got their first wig because of me being open about it
krystyna...that's a great attitude and a way to spread the wig joy as well as break the stigma of what wigs look like, and what types of people wear wigs. We are all ages, all sizes, and colors, we wear them for a myriad of reasons and we are thrilled at the options wigs afford us. I dont always reveal my little secret, but most times I do and almost always to another woman. The only conundrum I have had is I sometimes see a woman, in a store usually, who has obviously thinning hair and I would love it if they DID comment on my "hair" to start the conversation so I could "witness" to them about the wonders of wigs. But they usually don't say anything, I wouldn't have either when I became hair challenged, so in order not to run the risk of offending a complete stranger or making them uncomfortable or embarrassed I usually just say a little silent prayer that they will do like I did and begin to research wigs online and stumble on a little ray of sunshine named Taz who will change her world in a wig wonderful way!!
Let me start by saying "Thank You" for your ever helpful wig reviews. Every wig you model looks wonderfully natural on you. I wish I could say the same for myself. I've just turned seventy and have owned three wigs during the course of my life and not one of them could ever pass for being anything but a wig. My last wig was a very popular brand that looks terrific sitting on my wig stand but is a horror show on me. My daughter is a hairstylist and even she can't make the wig look good. How do you and every other woman reviewing these wigs look so natural in them ? What is it that I'm doing wrong? My hair is thinning fast so wigs may soon be my only option.

Definitely wigs before makeup! I’ve found that people respond more positively to me since I’ve started wearing wigs. It’s very possible that it’s because *I* felt better wearing a wig and I project that, but I also look a lot better wearing wigs instead of my thin, scraggly biohair, lol! I love, love, love wearing my wigs!

Good morning TAZ😘 I totally agree and have said the exact same 5 things as you said! Wigs allow u so many choices in styles and colors! They have also give me styles I never dreamed I could wear especially with my own very soft fine hair! You can put on a wig and totally feel confident which gives you a wonderful outlook on urself and life! I can throw a wig on and my blush and be good to go! Me and Blush are best friends :). Sunday, don't know if you've jumped into wigs yet, but I'm thinking you'll feel great when you find the wig that perks up your look. I started with a beautiful topper, Jon Renau Top Style 12". I've worn it every time I left the house since I got it. It's beautiful. I am now looking into wigs...and have a large wish list. A good wig company will have very good return policies if you don't adjust the wig at all. So you're never stuck with a wig you don't like. Always check the return policy. WigStudio1 has a good policy as well as Wigs by Patti's Pearls, imo.

@@Pinksheepherding I applaud your courage. It took me decades to become the in-you-face wig wearer. Now I brass it up and announce my new wig. I don't care who else doesn't like it except my husband. Won't wear a wig he doesn't like. He supports my hair adventures wholeheartedly and loves that he's married to a blonde on Monday and a brunette on Tuesday; and I get chased around the house a lot on Wednesday when I'm a red-head.

Love this video, Taz! yes, wigs are my magic hats for sure. If I had to choose between hair and makeup, I think my answer is that it depends where I'm living at the moment. If I'm in KS, I choose makeup because I get my hair done while there. When I'm in Florida, I choose my wigs. You know I wear wigs because I love them, they're fun, I love to change my style and color, and it saves me tons of money. Currently, my roots are 2 inches of gray and I wouldn't go to the mailbox without a wig on. Hands down, I choose wigs during my 6 months in Florida! Love love your videos. I have 4 almost 6 wigs and just love them. My hair had become so thin . the days when I am going out to dinner with family, going shopping, or flying to visit one of my daughters, it's became very stressful because I didn't know what to do with my hair. It was too thin to style anymore. I always gave it blonde highlites, and it wasn't even highliting right like it used to. I'm 78, and still want to look good. I love makeup and cute clothes but my hair was so stressful for me. Since I have a few wigs now, it's such a relief to just throw on a wig and feel and look so much better. My clothes look better as well. Your channel I's so inspiring and I've learned so much. I go towards wigs no longer than at chin. Some pixies added in. I have to control myself. I say no more wigs. Then I see another one that I love. Thank you Taz for a great wig adventure.

I loved the video and the advice! I'm 55, feel like I'm 30 and I'm in the same boat you are...I haven't lost my hair but I feel like my hair makes me look old and wigs definitely take 10 years off! As important as the wig tips were, I agree that having a positive attitude, believing in yourself, being a "light" to others and radiating love and appreciation do as much, no make that more than wigs and make up. People can sense your joy, happiness and confidence and respond to it. I firmly believe that what you give, you get! I chose to give joy and light to others! I think I might have to chose make-up....such a tough choice though.

I love these tips. Thanks for sharing. As always, I love your content. Thank you for what you do. Believe it or not after I watched your videos for the first time , I had the courage to embrace my wig wearing journey.
The make up or wig question is very hard. As much as I love make up. I would have to say wigs because with dealing with my hair loss from PCOS made me very sad and depressed. I started thinning out noticeably at around age 21 and I just started wearing a few years ago and I am now 41. I sometimes am sad that I did not embrace this when I was younger.

Without a doubt...wigs, wigs, wigs. I wish I had started wearing them years ago. Hated my think hair all my life and struggled with style holding in the weather. I look like a new woman. Thank God for the wonderful gift of wigs.

Taz, you’re beautiful inside & out. You definitely look young for your age, and I think a lot of youthfulness is your good attitude about yourself, others, & life in general. Your upbeat nature & liveliness also help with your youthful appearance as do the clothes you wear, your good figure, your good skin, your pretty face. The wigs you wear are complimentary & no one can tell but you. I think I try to keep a positive attitude also, but I’m much older than you & I have a chronic illness that causes me to have mobility issues. However, I try to smile & have a good sense of humor. Faith & a good wig help a lot!!!
Hi Elise, I have often tried to put myself in the shoes of an aging woman that has illness or physical debilitation. I see a lot of this on my channel. I have such energy and physical stamina that I cannot imagine. You are right.. having the most positive attitude, faith and focusing on things that bring you joy would be great answers. Hi Taz, Crisis changes a person, I was 30 when my 5 yr old son had cancer, removed a kidney ,portion of diap. and tons of chemo. I aged a lot. he made but for the graze of god. I am now 69 and just want to enjoy this time, new to wigs I am loving them and don't think I would want to give up either, but your hair makes a huge difference. I have so enjoyed learning from you and I also believe confidence is essential. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR HELP AND I HOPE AND PRAY FOR YOUR SON. LOVE ME

Agree with everything you’re saying. I have chosen a couple of longer wigs as in my profile pic. But definitely had my wig specialist frame it tastefully around my face. I think anyway. I am 61 and love my wigs. I would never guess your true age. You look fantastic

In think that for most ladies, old hair problems stay with them and must be set aside (hard to do) to regain confidence. I definitely had that problem and still do, 3 years after my first wig, on occasion. Confidence comes from under that wig, as you said , and we all need it. Thank you Taz, for a great video! Go wig wearers, go!

I have been wearing wigs for probably 4 decades. I am now 70, but am repeatedly told I look like I'm in my early to mid 40's!!! Woo hoo! I say I am 38 something. (Because that's what I feel like inside.)
My hair, like yours, is quite thin. But mine is also fine and straight. I was always having to either color or perm to have any body, but then really needed to have my hair done every week. It was a pain, expensive, and very damaging to my hair. A friend suggested wigs. She had been wearing them for 20 years. So I got my first one and haven't stopped!
Wig or makeup? Joan Rivers (r.i.p.) and Laura Geller have said we shouldn't leave home without eyebrows, eyelashes and lips. Only gals of a certain age get this:) Like you, I then always add the glow. All this can be done in less than 5 minutes, another 5 to arrange the hair, and out the door!
I never would have guessed you to be in your 50's, but suspected you were at least 40ish b/c of your son. Otherwise, I would think early 30's. Thanks for your patient teachings and love of life. I am always blessed by watching your videos. And as someone who has taught women for years how to be their best, I truly appreciate your efforts.
As women age and look in the mirror, it's often hard to reconcile the image with how they feel inside. But we CAN combat this turmoil. We CAN age gracefully, and feel like we look a little younger. It can give us a spring in our step! Wigs make a HUGE difference!!!

For the last 20 years I have consulted individually with women as the Lord has sent them to me. However, I am starting to also do group classes. For what I do, I feel it needs to be in person training/consulting/ coaching.
I saw your age...Are you going through something, or just plain flummoxed because of that age and all it entails?

I wish I had your courage to change up the styles regularly. That would be such fun! In my photo I’m wearing Jon Renau’s Zara. I’m going long while I can but always same color, same style. Maybe I’ll get courageous and change it up a bit!
I've done that, too, Debbie. I'm new to hair helpers, started with a topper and now looking at wigs but will stay close to my bio hair color and basic style...for now. The more I watch Taz's videos, the more I feel my courage bumping up. :-)

I feel more confident at age 66 than in my 40's which for me was a big transition! Attitude is everything. Great video, Taz! I know this might be a bit personal, but do you have a diet, lifestyle or exercise routine that keeps you in such great shape?
