- Johnathan McGriff and Cole Anthony went head to head at CP3 Rising Stars Camp. The two Class of 2019 guards had several big time exchanges were it seemed like neither player could miss from behind the three point arc. Cole Anthony led his team to a 93-92 victory scoring 36 points while shooting nearly 65% from three point range. Johnathan McGriff scored 23 points and dropped 5 dimes while shooting 70% from three point range. Both players are considered amongst the top guards in the Class of 2019.

McGriff really improved his shot. He played at my school Riverdale Baptist. Before all he had were the handles and flashy passes, his shot was beyond broken. Now look at him, keep grinding and working hard.

#38 needs to pick up on the "1 move and go" play style its way more efficient than all those unnecessary dribble moves just to barely squeeze past the defense

the shorter kid (McGriff), seems to dribble way 2 much more than needed.. he already has the quickness to make his move the first time.. IMO seems focused to much on shaking opponent instead of making a play the first time

#38 is the typical "i got handles so i think i should play point" player,*judging from this mixtape* he doesn't have any defense, his moves don't work (he literally just slides by people) and he's toooo flashy..he does have a good jumper tho, and he might over dribble but he has a nice handle of the ball BUT...a good defender would eat him alive...i like 120 game, he's smooth with his handles, knows how to run the pick, has a good shot, can play defense (although he's slow on the jumpshot) and real level headed, i know a lot of sorry players that would bite on ever move number #38 does....still 2 good players who have alot of potential
