This is exactly what I needed to see. For a single guy with the Casori air fryer, I tend to have a full freezer and have very little in the refridge area.
Can you do a "single guy" air fryer special video? Cover frozen burritos/chimichangas, mini pizzas, pizza rolls, pot pies, hot pockets, mozzarella sticks, taquitos, fish sticks and egg rolls. I have to go thru some trial and error in trying to find the right balance of cooking temp and time against the directions printed on the packaging.
Special request: can I also have the same outstanding "testers" on this video as well?
Still cooking my ribeyes from your awesome steak video!
Hey hey! I have two other videos you might enjoy then... they are mostly about frozen foods in the air fryer, and it should give you a pretty good idea of time/temp:
ua-cam.com/video/hNFNGLpLvRY/v-deo.html
ua-cam.com/video/qJhqMazMk78/v-deo.html
Hope that helps!
christ dude... maybe eat a salad
Awesome test. The air fryer really works great on frozen pizza. I also use it to reheat leftover pizza, works the best
I agree! Love rehearing pizza!
I've been watching your videos for months. I started with a cheap air fryer and recently upgraded to the 5.8 Cosori. We love it! Thank you for improving my cooking life. I love seeing your kids in the video too.
Yay! I'm so glad to hear it!
@@empoweredcooks I'm confused, was there a clear winner? Putting 'em in the screen numbered worst to best would have been excellent
@@bighomiereviews1150 We loved the California Pizza the best!
About a year ago I was on the fence about an air fryer... Started watching your show for information and bought a Cosori... I love it... I rarely use my oven or microwave anymore... It's a game changer.. Thanks for your content it's appreciated, take care.
I forgot about the tests and can only see such a great family get together, love it!
So awesome the whole family gets involved and give their opinions.👏👏👏👏
When there is food involved.... you know. They are IN!
Great test, it's all I need. Thank you 😊
I love your videos with your kids 💜 Finally bought an air fryer, no idea how to cook stuff in it, found your channel and am learning so much from you 🙂 Not afraid of it anymore thanks to you! 😁👍
Awesome! Thank you!
I really love the idea of putting the rack above pizza slices to prevent the toppings from flying off
beautiful family, I hope you know how blessed you are.
Excellent reviews. Beautiful family. Thank you
Thanks for this! I am just getting in to the Cosori Air Fryer world and have been trying the usual meal items--steak, chicken, burgers...now I'm branching out to pizza. Your vid had all the info I was looking for: brands, time, temp, technique. And a great looking, fun family to boot!
I enjoyed this alot. What a fun way to try out the different brands and types of pizza. :) Thank you Cathy.
Thank you Richard!
Your taste testers are so cute. 😍
Thanks Pat!
@Rick Sanchez C-135 😳
They are the best!
the best thing is the real taste testers
:) Thank you!
Thank you this was great for me!❤
I love cooking the small Red Baron deep dish pizzas in my air fryer. They turnout so good! I've been debating on getting one of the bigger air fryer ovens so I can cook big frozen pizzas but haven't decided yet.
OMG!!! You're amazing 😱 I'm going to try it👍
omg you just got a new subscriber , finally a you tuber about learning hot to air fry , thank you so much , from savannah georgia , manny
Very good. New to Air Fryer cooking and great idea to cut pizza pre-cooking to fit in AF. Thank you for another great video.
Your sons smile had me crying in laughter. I just started diving into the world of frozen pizza. I'm hooked
Great Video....Thank You ❤❤❤
Thanks! Will definitely try!
Hope you enjoy! :)
This is a great tutorial! I only have a really small air fryer but clearly shows I can have a slice, and not waste the whole pizza!
Yes for sure!!
This video is awesome! I live alone and now I can just cook a slice at a time. I LOVE Red Baron pizza and after watching this, I tried it. I will not cook my pizza any other way now. Thank you. I am subscribed to your channel, and your videos really help people who live alone. If there was a way to post a pic, I would share my slice. I was so excited how it came out, I shared it and your video to my Facebook Page!
Thank you so very much for doing these videos you have given me so much courage and cooking tips that I’m using my gift air fryer more and more 👍🏽
You got this!
Great review and your taste testers make this video super great 👍
:) Thank you!
Thank-you for doing this! I always see these frozen pizza on sale and wonder which is the best for my air fryer. Keep up the good work!
We really liked the DiGiorno the most! (well, except the CPK was super yummy too... but thin crust)
BEAUTIFUL FAMILY!!
Your kids are completely adorable!
Thank you :)
We love the party pizzas, and Hubby was sad thinking they wouldn't fit in the air fryer like they did the replaced toaster oven, but they do! I hadn't even checked. He will be jazzed!
I used to do this with my kids your kids are like my kids they really enjoy this and that is good
Great job
Hi Kathy!!! I enjoyed your video today. We always liked Red Barron. Tried them all but not the California one. Next time I make a froze pizza I will definitely use my AF. Always look forward to see what's new on your videos!!! You have great taste testers. Beautiful children . You are blessed...Wish my kids were still young!!! Great video my sweet friend!!!
Hi Diane! You've got to try the BBQ Chicken one from CPK. Sooo yummy! And as always, thank you for your kind words!
Haha this was a fun video. What a beautiful family you have
Aw, thank you!
LOVE your kids!!! Thanks for having them as your taste testers!! Hope to see more of them for holiday recipes and bakes!!!
I'm with your little girl, I like Tony's pizzas!! Also love the square Totinos pizzas. They fit right in my AF oven!! I cook mine at 350 for about 13 minutes. Turns out exactly how I like them! And if you get the sausage pizza, and then put a bit of shredded lettuce, cheese, and salsa on top.......you have Taco Pizza!!! My fav for frozen pizzas.
And I found that the extra crispy pepperoni on my pizza tastes a bit like bacon to me. LOL So I don't mind when the pepperoni gets extra cooked! If you don't like the extra cooked pepperoni, dab a bit of cooking oil on them before baking.
Once again, our tastes coincide..........I LOOOOOVE Chicken BBQ pizza!!!
Wow! Such great tips here! Thank you! Taco Pizza sounds like a lot of fun! 🥰
Great job! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
I have to say I absolutely love the Cosori air fryer I got. Totally creams the old Bella I had from a few years ago.
WOO HOO! What an awesome upgrade!
Excellent videos and have been cooking like a mad man with my Cosori!
😆
Super pizza video, I’ll have to give it a try!
Thanks, Ellen!
Just what I needed, I just burned two frozen pizzas in my air fryer
Great video Cathy
And now I want Pizza! LOL...your taste testers did an awesome job! We used the AF to reheat Pizza a couple weeks ago the day after and it was exactly like we just picked it up! So there's that! Now will have to try frozen, thanks for sharing!
You are so welcome! :)
I got this Cosori as an upgrade to my smaller one (gave that one to my college student). Love it and I hate leftover pizza in the microwave but LOVE it reheated in air fryer
YES, I can't believe I didn't even think of mentioning how awesome it is for reheating leftover pizza!
You convinced me....I just ordered Home Delivery of CA BBQ Pizza
AND the Digiorno from Walmart...arrives around 11:00 AM....It'll go in my Ninja XL Crisp AF
or the Cosori I haven't yet opened ! Thanks... :) FUN video...kids are great... you, too :) !
Amazing! Hope you enjoy!
I love your videos. I have tried several in my corsori and you are right on point. I really like leftover pizza in the airfrier. Thanks for sharing always get new inspiration from you. And love the kids reactions and their likes and dislikes. Bless you all
Thank you!! ❤
I have a Cosori AF, and a Ninja AF, and I love the way they cook French bread pizza. Thank you for your videos!
Good to know you like both of them for frozen pizzas! Others have mentioned the french bread pizza too!
Thanks, Cathy, for the frozen pizza tips. I have to try that one tip of not pre heating all the time. Most times I buy my pizzas from a local pizza pie joint, and then freeze up what is left for later the following week. So, I just thaw out 2 pieces of pizza and cook it that way. Will have to do your frozen pizza tip next time. Anyway, thanks again, and thanks for the TIMESTAMPs links. Oh, love your master taste tester team - little Miss Blonde is so cute :-)
Hi Dan! Oh what a great idea! Please let me know if the tips apply to the fresh pizza you freeze! I'd be curious to know! And as always, you are welcome... anything I can do to make life easier for people!
Thanks for posting the video was getting ready to try I no to cook a little less
Hope you enjoy!
Great video. Love the testers.
Thanks Mark!
I just got an air fryer and your channel has helped so much .. New Sub 👍❤
Awesome! Thank you!
Perfect! Was just wondering if I could do pizza or partial pizza in the air fryer - perfect for a single person!!! Need to get one of those pizza cutters - that'll work for sure!
I've been making greek yogurt crust bbq chicken pizza in the air fryer about 4 days a week for the last couple weeks. It's ridiculous good and fun / quick to make
I use my Cosori and get Red Baron single serving thick crust..3 cheese..then use leftover hamburger ..ham..bacon rounds..then top with extra cheese..400°@ 6 minutes..if start frozen I microwave it 1 minute then add toppings..it is perfect for single person households and great way to use up those leftovers!..yumm..love your vids,Dear!..
Wow Linda, way to dress it up!
I love cooking frozen pizza in my air fryer oven especially during the hot Summer months.
oh YES!
Beautiful family! Have a great day Sister
Tortinos pizza is my favorite in the world. ❤ So cheap and easy and I use the oven and I put a little oil on the bottom and its so crispy good.
Thank you! I was wondering if our fave frozen pizza would work in the air fryer. We get the DiGiorno thin crust Margherita . Now I know and will try it in my Cosorio - which I bought on your recommendation and LOVE IT.
Yay! I bet you will love it!
I’m trying to deconstruct DiGiorno’s new breakfast pizza they’re really good, but on the cinnamon roll/coffee cake one I think I can do better with the canned pizza dough (that I saw on your channel) and umm lots of butter and cream cheese etc.. thanks for giving me a good solid foundation to build upon! ❤️
Hi Cathy. Love this video since frozen pizza is our weekend go-to food. I've been trying to find the Pizza Rocker you use in this video. It would be very helpful if you could provide the Manufacturer and where you purchased it. Thanks so much!
Hi Linda! I got it off a daily deal website, and haven't been able to find this exact one again. However, here are similar ones! amzn.to/3rotXN7
You guys should try the Great Value Deep Dish Mini Pizza's. They're always out of stock at my Walmart but when I find them I stock up because my 11yr old son and I like them so much in our Power XL basket AF (the original from the tv commercial. Gifted to me Christmas 2017), they fit perfectly. I also have an Instant Pot Vortex AF oven and two Instant Pots. One for meals and one for sides. Don't know why I never thought of cutting the whole pizza in fours thanks for the tip.
Hi!! Thank you for the video, I just bought an Ayr frier and I need to learn recipes and tips about it. May I ask why you used the rack?? Is it needed?
Not needed! Just helps keep flying frozen pepperoni grounded. But might not be an issue for yours. Test it out!
I have a large Panasonic 4 in 1. I was wondering what people thought about using the convection feature. Is it more or less the same time as an oven vs the shorter air fryer times?
I love your channel and your tasters (kids) are SO cute!
Re pizzas- several other air fryer sites recommend taking the temperature way down and cooking for much longer than the regular oven directions. This avoids the burnt-top-soggy-raw-bottom phenomenon. There are air fryer directions on the DiGiorno personal pizza box that say cook at 320(!) for 9 minutes. That temp is good, but 9 minutes isn't long enough-- 12-14 is more like it. Keep up the great work!
Thanks EJ - and those are great tips! Thank you for sharing!
Hello !! I love your videos! I've learned so much! To see the relationship with your kids warms my heart and returns my faith for humanity! Responsible and caring parents is what we desperately need. In another note, is it possible for you to make a bunched of recepies in a ninja foodi grill 6 in 1. I just got it as a gift. I know you are an air fryer girl but just wanted to ask. Maybe? Many blessings!
Hi E.G. thanks for your kind words! :) As far as the Foodi Grill you've got there, I don't own it and don't really have a need to! lol - I did see another youtuber do a video and she has that same air fryer: ua-cam.com/video/YJR232fwk2k/v-deo.html - she adapted a few of my recipes for her foodi... so I think almost any of my recipes should work for you!
@@empoweredcooks thank you!
I watch all of your videos, 3ven bought my Casori Airfryer from Amazon cause I saw that you and Mandy In the Making have that brand ! Thanx for teaching this old dog some new tricks !!👍
Big recall on Cosori Air Fryers
I’m looking at a Cosori AF to replace my current. Which model do you have or recommend?
Hi there! I am loving this CP-358 model! amzn.to/2QtgPHq
Not sure if mentioned before but what if you use that low rack that you didn’t know what todo with from your accessory kit?
Raise the pizza up a little bit so that the bottom gets more heat? May end up more crispy.
I’ve ordered a similar kit. Once I get it I can try.
That's a great idea! Thanks for the tip!
Definitely will be air frying my frozen pizza next time I cook it 🍕
My kids love the frozen pizzas from the supermarket. The ones we get are rectangular shape and they just fit in the air fryer LOL . They are good to have in the freezer when Mr 17 feels hungry which is always LOL 😂
Ha ha - I totally get that!!
Nice video
Wow great time saver. I wonder if bumping the temperature down a little and leaving it in a little longer will help with less burned pepperoni.
Quite possibly!
Nice👍
I haven't had frozen pizza in years - with Costco just around the corner, we just grab a slice there. I will give it a try when I have pizza to reheat though.
Works great reheating pizza.... But watch close or you will have Cajun-style when it cooks to much
Hi! I'm a big fan of your channel! I've learned alot of things from you and looking to buy 1. However, there's 2 Cosori available here. Model CO158-AF which has dial on it and the CS158-AF which is the one that you're using. Other than the touch screen and other preset features, is there any difference? thank you!
I haven't used the one with the dial, but if the sizing is the exact same, then I'd do whichever one costs less. I rarely use the preset buttons, so a dial with no presets wouldn't be an issue for me!
@@empoweredcooks thanks for the response! ❤️❤️❤️
Don't forget the Recall on your Cosori because of faulty electrical connection. I just sent mine in. You cut the cord and show photo's of your unit.
When the pizzas are frozen, I just bend them to break off a piece small enough to fit into the air fryer. 😂
Hey Cathy - Great video on cooking frozen pizza - But one question on those large pizzas. ....What is that contraption you are using to cut the large pizza to fit into the air fryer. It seems to have a blue handle above the cutting blade. Looks like it also would be handy for other food cutting/chopping.
Hi Dan. Great question. That is my small little pizza cutter rocker. You can find something similar on Amazon: amzn.to/3HC8iYp
How do you know what the internal temp for each pizza should be when cooked? Is this something that one sees on the pizza box? Thanks!
Some of the pizza boxes say it. Generally 165˚F is a nice hot internal temp so you know food is cooked through. Of course, other made from raw foods have different internal temps. I list them all out in this free download: amzn.to/2QtgPHq
Cut your pizza similar to little caesers crazy bread. Once in half, then into strips. It's a signature of one of my local places, and it allows you to fit more in the fryer.
Just saw tip for placing rack over…gonna try that
Works like a charm!
Love your channel and sense of humor. Where did you get that pizza cutter from?
Hi Gerald - I actually got it years ago on some daily deal site.
Guess what! My deal team on my website found something similar and it's on sale! fabulesslyfrugal.com/deals/stainless-steel-14-inch-pizza-cutter/
@@empoweredcooks 👍
Hii Cathy! i just bought my first ever air fryer, and its the COSORI model you use. I'm so excited to use it, i have question, can i use Olive oil instead of avocado or coconut oil for the cooking?
I'm not Cathy, but you can use any oil, as long as the smoke point of the oil is high enough for the temperature you are using. Just don't use aerosol sprrays, as they will break down the protective coating in your basket. :)
I believe avocado oil has a higher smoke point than olive oil. I think that's why she uses it.
I've been told you can use the light olive oil as it has a higher smoke point than the normal olive oil
We have such a great community here! Yes, I go with avocado oil because of the high smoke point. But there have been some times that I've used olive oil and I don't know that I've noticed anything odd about the taste. I suggest testing it out and if you don't notice an issue, just use olive oil!
For the rising crusts, I lower temp and increase time, but I've never gotten them right, but the Great value mini deep dishes are the perfect size and come out well in 6 minutes at 360. I'm using a Ninja Foodi Grill.
Mmm! Sounds tasty! Thanks for the tip!
Surprised that you didn’t try any Walmart store-brand pizzas. Their buffalo chicken stuffed crust pizza is the very first food I ever tried in an air fryer. (Bought one first for my daughter and the pizza was her choice). I was so impressed, I went and bought myself an air fryer. I like that I can prepare a portion of a pizza.
Sounds like I missed a great opportunity!
I’m having trouble getting the bottom of the crust cooked before the top burns on a personal frozen pizza. I will definitely preheat next time and one UA-camr suggested a little spray of oil on the bottom 🤔
Red Baron makes the best frozen pizzas.
I certainly enjoyed it!
Where can I find more info on the pizza cutter? Thanks
Oh bummer - I bought it on an online boutique a few years ago. However, here is something similar! amzn.to/3koVYRE
Red Baron is our favorite frozen pizza. And where I live, it’s really cheap. Win-win!
Yes for sure!
I also Vote for Red Baron as a fave. I usually just get pepperoni, and add more meat, mushrooms, and black olives. Yumm!
Hi Cathy,
Would you be able to test Celeste 4 Cheese pizza 🍕in the dual blaze.
Thank you
Hi, where can i get the rack to put over the pizza??
Amazon! It comes in an air fryer accessory kit: amzn.to/3kHrTgx
Excellent video, I got a GoWISE air fryer and I love your videos, can you please do a video on fried chicken???
Hi David! I got you! ua-cam.com/video/50lBseukzPg/v-deo.html
Tony's and Red Baron look the same because they are. They are both owned by Schwann's . Even the Schwann's basic pizza is identical to them. We rarely order out pizza anymore. We just keep a couple of Tony's Classic Crust Pepporoni pizzas in the deep freezer. We just add additional fresh toppings to taste before baking.
I've got a huge Omni Instant so the whole pizza fits inside. Cook it with the bake feature for around 11 minutes. If the top is getting too brown (but we like to have our toppings caramelize a bit) then we just slide the baking sheet into the air fryer slots to keep the top from getting burnt. Yum.
Oh wow, that's neat! Thank you for sharing!
I used to cook pizza in my NuWave until it broke. The trick is to cook it upside down first then flip to finish (crisp up) cooking the top. You'll need a silicone cooking mat to do this in your air fryer.
I wish I could find your cookbook in swedish 😁
So sorry!
I'm new to air fryers...if you oiled the bottom of the pan, would the crusts turn out crispier?
I think its worth trying out!
My husband days you've created a monster lol you see I made Chex mix in my sir fryer and also I dehydrated some parsley works great thank you so much make show how to use my surveyed keep it up love all the videos
Wow, Eldona! You sound like a pro! I'd love to hear about your chex mix adventure!
Where do I find that metal piece you put over the pizza?
Amazon- it usually comes in an air fryer accessory kit. Here is a link to one- amzn.to/3PNnDJv. You can also find it on my Amazon page at airfryertools.com
Question...I'm on WW and i get the lean cuisine 4 cheese and load it with veggies. i always add 30 seconds when i nuke it, but i got a corsori like yours for christmas and am wondering how to convert a microwave pizza to air fryer...Help please!
Hmmm, I would probably run it for 5 minutes at 380 and then add time if needed. It's hard to say since I can't see how thick and large your pizza is.
Love Pizza but I make it KETO style for weight and health reasons. It taste just as good, I mean come on cheese and pepperoni and maybe a few green olives because I love them. We make it with a PSMF BREAD dough and you can't tell the difference. Love watching the cooking it gives me great ideas.
Sounds like a great modification!
I buy a couple of pizza's from little Caesars and freeze individual slices and heat in the air fryer . It's way more convenient and the taste if a lot better. It's cheaper believe it or not. Love your channel and awesome kids♡
Great idea, Patricia! Thanks for sharing!
