Morissette is showcasing her wonderfully coordinated and "balanced" voice. Her head voice has developed so nicely. She can make her head tone sound really muscular (i.e. lots of "ta" muscle participation and glottal onsets), or, she can make it very light and thin (i.e. neutral to breathy onsets). She creates wonderful dynamics, even with just her head tones. Her use of vibrato is perfection. My favorite vocalist of all time.
Her vibrato is probably my favorite, not just in the Philippines, not just of this generation, but ever. It is sublime (and so versatile). Funny side note, someone from one of the other fandoms was trying to tell me once that there is no such thing as balanced singing (lol 🤨🤔)

Someone who can genuinely adapt into any sport and be great at it. That's how I see Morissette's vocal apparatus -- it's so athletic and versatile. She can "genuinely" sing in any style. If there's a style she hasn't done, then it won't take her much training to adapt to it. The muscles of her vocal apparatus are ideally built for versatility. Great balance between her TA and CT muscles. She can "genuinely" sing in two extremes: In a big, guttural, fully-engaged way (like an 80s Rock star, or a big voiced Soul singer), or, in a light way (like a Broadway star, ala Lea Salonga).

If you start off your training with what they call a "balanced" or "light" mix, then you're neglecting proper TA muscle development. We need serious TA muscles for "big, fully-engaged" singing. Without great TA muscles, you can't be versatile. You won't be able to do glottal attacks/onsets (like rock stars do), you won't be able to do extreme compression, and you won't be as versatile on the "vocal effects".
Like MC Hammer said: can't touch this. She's simply one of those singers that stops you on your tracks and your jaws would drop. Singing ballads..she "feels it", its in her DNA. You can't teach anybody that. The fact that all over the world people gets blown away when Tagalog is not even their first language is a testament to her ability.

Not just in its inherent sound, but imo it also gives her more room to experiment with different textures and tone colors than other singers because she's so much farther away from that threshhold where it would become unpleasant to listen to. She's not the only one like that, but she's one of the biggest examples I can think of.
