I pretty much copied this design for my rocket furnace. I used 4" square tubing on mine and it works very well. The hardest part was designing the burner so it would burn consistantly without clogging. I ended up with 4 different burner designs and they all produce different temperatures. I used the design used by the "Riley" pellet fired camp stoves as the bases for my designs and they all work pretty well. I have very little ash and no smoke to speak of. My chimney stays clean throughout the burn season.
Keep in mind that I've only used it for a couple weeks, that being said, so far so good ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxAU9pOCSV9Y5JprooHvfxTpOrt4hx8uRM . Using it at 8 ft. by 8ft. deer blind that is insulated. I have to keep the door cracked for it to get enough air to burn, but that is very likely the wood I've used. Much better quality than I expected for the price. Now if I can just take it easy in the beginning it won't be 90 degrees in my blind. All in all it seems like a keeper.
Hello there; I watched your video on youtube channel, it was a great stove. I need your support on this. I wonder if you could help me. I tried to take the measurements in your part 1 video, but I had some shortcomings. Please, do you have a pdf extension project, can you share with me. What should be the thickness of the box profile, thank you.
