Yes I found out how much it takes it out of you working my 22RB in 40° heat. I was knackered!! She sounds beaut, James.

I would like to put the 10 RB on a Scammell low loader four in line to take a period type photo . Back down there in a week or so to paint the boom and a grease up

@@DOCTORDROTT I am seriously thinking of selling my crane. I can't justify the expence of all the items that need attention and the fact it isn't reliable enough to put on a job to actually recoop some money. The worse blow was the people I was hoping would have some small project for me to practice on, have already de-silted all their dams. So it doesn't make sense to keep it only to pretend and go to rust on my mate's farm. It owe's me $40k and I could easily spend another 20k.

@@adriannettlefold9084 That's a great shame mate. They can be a money pit, that's why I payed a bit more than I wanted to to get a machine that is in good condition as it can get expensive if it needs a lot of work and time. Also the size of the machine makes it hard. A friend has a 22 RB and it still earns its keep at a coal plant. Wire rope is expensive too.

@@DOCTORDROTT if I only want to go throw a bucket around and not do anything, I can. But I'm looking at prices and I paid $950.95 the other day to have 2x clutch band relined with friction material. That's over double what it was 12months ago. I hope I can get some of what I spent if I do put it up for sale. At least the next bloke, won't have to paint it.

@@adriannettlefold9084 Yes, parts are gone up in price, currently working on a CAT 951 . I am getting in parts for that even if they are not needed yet, as they will go up in price and may not be available in the near future. I also intend to stock up on 10 RB parts to keep her running for years .
