“God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life” (John 3:16).
This verse shows that God loves you and created you for a life that is full and meaningful (John 10:10)!
Why is it that most people are not experiencing this abundant life? Because all of us sin, and our sin has separated us from God (Romans 3:23).
We were created to have fellowship with God, but because of our stubborn self-will, we chose to go our own way, and our fellowship with God was broken. This self-will, characterized by an attitude of active rebellion or passive indifference, is what the Bible calls sin.
“The wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). Death is spiritual separation from God.
God is holy and people are sinful, and a great gulf separates us. We are continually trying to reach God and the abundant life through our own efforts, such as a good life, philosophy, or religion - but we fail.
Jesus Christ is God's only provision for our sin. Through Him we can know and experience God's love and plan for our lives! Jesus died in our place (Romans 5:8), rose from the dead (1 Corinthians 15:3-6), and is the only way to God (John 14:6). God has bridged the gulf that separates us from Him by sending His Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross in our place to pay the penalty for our sins.
We must individually receive Jesus Christ through faith as Savior and Lord; then we can know and experience God's love and plan for our lives (Ephesians 2:8-9). When we receive Christ, we experience a new birth.
Jesus says, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come into him” (Revelation 3:20).
Receiving Christ involves turning to God from self (repentance) and trusting Christ to come into our lives to forgive our sins and to make us what He wants us to be. Just to agree intellectually that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He died on the cross for your sins is not enough. Nor is it enough to have an emotional experience. You receive Jesus Christ by faith, as an act of the will.
You can receive Christ right now by faith through prayer.
Prayer is talking to God. God knows your heart and is not so concerned with your words as He is with the attitude of your heart. Here is a suggested prayer:
“Lord Jesus, I need You. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be.”
If this prayer expresses the desire of your heart, then you can pray this prayer right now and Christ will come into your life, as He promised.

When our Lord entered the temple and found it polluted by money-changers and beasts, did he ask them to leave? Did he cry? Did he simply walk away? No. He drove them out.
With violence, of course! :)

We should all be doing that to the money changers of the modern age, and give to everyone based on their needs, like he did.
Because this is in fact the only time Jesus got angry and used violence and cursed people. His hatred towards humans who would use God's name to do evil and propagate greed was so great, everyone in the temple fled his wrath. The usurers, the merchants, the traders all left behind their belongings despite their greed. The temple guards, the priests who grew fat from the fees, they all fled their home turf. So terrifying was Jesus's anger at this injustice, that God's own children would exploit God's name for slander, for personal gain!
Compare to how, even towards demons all Jesus did was to calmly refute them with Scripture and tell them to leave.
Even when men came to take Jesus away, and Simon Peter took out a sword to chop off a man's ear, Jesus commanded him to put that sword away, and even healed the injured enemy's ear back on.

As a kid we were taught that this scene was that we are to respect the House of God, places of Worship etc. But one meaning is that the money-changers were corrupt and were robbing the people and Jesus didn't allow it. Another deep meaning and explanation to this scene is that God's temple i.e our own body should be rid of corruption by Satan. Jesus is the only one who can help cleanse and purify our soul.

I was miraculously saved from an accident on highway over-bridge 5 days ago! The car was badly damaged but I escaped unhurt! It was some power which stopped my car from falling off the bridge. I know it was Jesus Christ, The Only True God who changes not.

Sin is when you rebel against the will of God and do pure evil. The temple was supposed to be used As a place of prayer honer and worship. But instead they were using it as a giant supermarket. Jesus was using righteous indignation for a good perfect purpose to correct those Jews so they can get right and have a pure holy righteous loving relationship with God. That was not a sin
