@@CampervanTales I couldn’t work that out when it was filmed. I remember meeting you both in Castleton and you were talking about the trip. I actually thought you had been twice. Hope you’re both well and have been enjoying plenty trips away in Amble. We recently returned from a trip to the Orkneys and it was amazing, only scratched the surface and need to go back.
Loverly video my friends! Your supper looked tasty. I had to laugh, the sign at the grave yard said tombstones might be unstable. My first thought was, “That’s okay, because I’m rather unstable myself!”. I hope your trip to Scotland goes ever so well. Be safe up there and I’ll see you two next Friday. Cheers!
@@mickylawless1941 thanks Micky. It's healthy and safety gone mad over here. Everything has to come with a warning. Even the news these days warns that some scenes may be upsetting! See you next Friday.
Cute little church. That story Keith told... reminded me of a school trip Brendan went on. He was ill after as he got so wet and didn't tell his teacher the radiator was broken in his room. So he wore cold wet clothes for 3 days 😢
Never explored Northumberland. However I do like to explore old churches and old graveyards from time to time. Pity you couldn't get inside for a look around. Not good with the tree getting felled a the sycamore gap and glad you wasn't waving dog poo before you sat down to eat 🙂
@@markat94 hiya. We do occasionally. Probably around 10 a year if we are away anywhere in the van we will grab one if we remember to look. Do you still cache?
@@CampervanTales My first reply doesn't seem to have come through, trying again Yes I still cache quite a lot, over 1000 finds so far this year but a lot of those finds were using the Adventure Lab app at this year's Mega (same login details different app) I see from your profile that you haven't tried Adventure Labs yet, they are a bit like a virtual where you often answer a question from a historical sign etc to get a find Some people say they aren't proper caching but they can sometimes take you to an interesting place where caches aren't allowed They became popular during covid because you didn't need to touch anything or grovel about in hedges
@@CampervanTales BTW I did a set of 5 Adventure Labs in Haltwhistle last year, they were good, they introduced me to a place that I had never visited before, the old centre of England sign, Market Square, Pele Tower, an old church etc
It’s a lovely area to travel around and so full of history
It really is. Hard to believe the trip finished 12 month's ago. Yep, we are that far behind with our videos.

Poor Brendan. He must chase been freezing.
@CampervanTales yes. He was and ended up sick for a week
The preacher would not have needed a PA in that church, very short! 😄
@@tomcat7525 lol. Jist a preachers voice back in the day was loud enough no matter how big the church

I really liked that old church and the tall celtic crosses, did the one above have a sword on the top of the grave? xx
Not sure Vicky. Sorry for delay in replying. In Scotland in some remote places and no Internet. .....Bliss
