Enjoying these videos Chris, after all the work you've done I'd keep it for the summer and hope we have some nice weather to enjoy some top down motoring then decide if you want to sell it or keep it and modify.
Nice video mate good to see some nice upgrades on the TT 💯😎 Just a little tip with that bolt I would definately leave the other 2 bolts in first to stop the twisting :) then crack the main large bolt for the rear part of the dogbone 💯
Cheers mate appreciate it 👍 Trust me I put the bolts back in and it didn't make any difference as the the dog bone can only move a certain amount as it sits through a notch it was proper seized
It’s so weird because I have a TTS with priv reg ending FNY 🤣 What do you think are the most important things to look out for with these? I changed cam follower and spark plugs recently. Gearbox service this month too 😢
Everytime you drop of a mk2 TT to a garage if they have to open the bonnet and you don't warn them it's going to be £12 for a new 1 from tps, soon mounts up
@@CarChris82 ok thanks mine is making a noise when im pulling off ive put a powerflex on the big bush i may need to change the dog bone aswell ....great videos by the way
@@CarChris82 genuinely loving this series. Your drive way worst kind of conditions and showing the average person if you have the passion/desire the rest will follow awesome series mate keep it up:)
Nar there too weak had 3 mk2 TT's and they where all snapped, if someone is new to these cars and you don't warn them they will most definitely snap it on there 1st pull
Laser do a kit that makes changing the subframe bushes easy, (without getting them stuck or breaking them like you did) if you want to shell out about £350 😞
I do have a couple of bush fitting and removal kits but access to these was a pain, would have been really easy with subframe removed.£350 no thanks lol
Chris, for the love of god, please put some additional blocks or something under the car whilst on 4 jack stands on loose gravel. Safety first, my friend.

You know it mate a yoga mate on the floor and crack on lol
bonnet release pin is plastic and designed so it breaks if the cable seizes, you will now snap the cable if it sticks
Fair enough mate but why is there so many of them breaking and the cable is not seized in fact I'm not sure I've even heard of a cable seized on these
