Totally confused about the VOD track. If you've selected VOD track to be track #2, then wouldn't you want spotify UNCHECKED on track #2, so that spotify does not play on the VOD? I feel like you've set this up backwards
@@Agenterino Hello sir! So, in the Advanced Audio Properties, for Spotify, check everything but uncheck Track 2? Am I right? Once you do this, Spotify plays on your live stream but you cannot hear Spotify once your stream is saved on Twitch. Am I right, sir?
I was trying to livestream space marine 2 today, I thought, this new game will kickstart a twitch following that I may one day make a career out of. I was met with my computer barely supporting 4k bitrate, my dropped frames was something like 65%, rewatching the stream was aweful, I was at like 15 fps with a bugged bitrate all the way through. I thought my internet was awful, I thought I needed a new computer, I watched one guide and all the settings they recommended were settings I already matched to theirs. Your video was promising because the settings changes were very different to the default, I was suspicious but I kept changing the settings, I'm currently in the middle of my first test stream and I have no dropped frames and a stable 8k bitrate. I was going to go to sleep incredibly anxious and annoyed, but now I'm hopeful. Thank you for not just recommending the default settings like everyone else, thank you so much for making such a great guide.
This whole time, my issue was just the server option and I never realized at the time that it was on auto, swapped it to closer to me.... BOOM no Dropped Frames. Thank you for reminding me of this. You're the man! easy subscribe and like from me. I didn't have enough caffeine for this.
Wont enabling Enhanced broadcasting negate any changes you made to output related to video? From my understanding, the reason that those settings were greyed out is because their algorithm picks modifies ur settings based on your hardware and network specs and it ignores any changes u make to the greyed out output settings entirely. This was confirmed from the Devs at OBS and Twitch in their discord
Such a super simple and easy-to-follow vid. I'm gonna do some test streams after following your instructions and I'll get back to you with my results in the near future. I hope more folks will check out this professionally-made vid, thanks a lot! 😄

@@Akira-Moun Well 9 and 18 are very different 😅 Try doing a speedtest a few times in a day and see the average number. Then you can either use 8k bitrate or do my 80-20% rule.

Enhanced broadcast uses the simple output mode and is controlling all of those settings no matter how you configure them. So using Enhanced broadcast and also ignoring streaming service for higher bitrate don't work
Hey dude, at 10:27 Spotify is not showing up for me under the Create/Select Source option, even though I have downloaded the app via the Microsoft Store. What do I do? 😕
Make sure you play something for at least a second. That way Windows detects that the program sends audio out. If that doesn't work, make sure to download Spotify directly, not through MS store
@@ToxicSentinelTTV Depends your capture card, and available codecs (nvenc, Quicksync, AMD vce, or x264) If you have nvenc, Quicksync, or AMD vce, you can record in 1080p@60fps or 1440p@30fps. I use the 1440p.(Better quality in UA-cam).

Ok so I’m just trying to record that’s it. I’m using a MacBook m3 with my iPhone 14 Pro Max and a canon r50 with a camlink 4k both at 4k 24fps everything is works fine at first only using like 4% of my cpu but after 20 mins it starts lagging but just my canon not my iPhone….
Bro I have a top of the line pc when it comes to specs.. 4090, i91300k, all of that… but no matter what I do I can’t stream at 1080p 60fps when I play a shooter, at any bitrate! I’ve tried all 3 output modes(Nvidia NVENC, x264), I’ve tried going to 720p and low output settings too but nothing! My shit is having trouble holding 48 fps😟 then I go into to my task manager and see that my 4090 is damn near at 100% usage! How do I fix this?
Hmm I’ve kinda had the same experience but not as bad as you. My situation is every so often I’ll get encoding lag but it fixes itself somewhat quickly. Find the source of the GPU/CPU usage in task manager and try to fix it. Maybe too many browser sources as that was one of my recent issues also, didn’t know they eat memory and cpu.
IF you are NOT a twitch partner, 8000 bitrate is going to give you really bad quality and your stream will suffer, ONLY partners get garuanteed 8000kbps. If you are not a parter, stream with 7250-7500kbps (depending on twitch server load)
