I have learned a crazy about of knowledge from watching your videos. We decided to make our own tshirts to sell on our food truck and I can't thank you enough for your detailed explanations! I started watching to learn about screen printing and ended up also learning so much about Illustrator. Thank you!
I've been struggling getting my reg marks to print with my separations for the longest time. From this video I finally figured it out. I have been copying a reg mark that I found online and tried to use the registration swatch to make it show up on every layer, but it never frickin' worked! And it made my outputs do all kinds of crazy things, but NEVER putting my marks on the same film as my separation layers. Following this template instructional--after months--I finally got it to work! Damn, what a relief. I'm ready to go to town now. Also, I really like the fact that your video makes no assumptions about what the viewer knows or doesn't know. You go through even the granular steps, and that is so appreciated. In doing so I picked up even some little bits I didn't know you could do on functions I've been doing for a long time. Bonus! Love your style and thank you for the life saving video. I'm subscribing and checking out your other videos. Cheers and peace out!
Thank you for the tutorial. Just created my first one! Keep them coming please

Thank you!
Thank you for your awesome tutorials. But, why don't you use the printing dialogue registration feature instead of creating your own?
Thanks Sir,
thank you
Will this work on photoshop too?
Great video, very helpful. I was wondering if you could answer a question. I created some artwork but I didn't align it to the center of the art board. When I try to align it to center, the objects distort. Any advice? Do you have a video for that...? Thanks...
you have to group the different images your trying to align first.
Group the image first
Do you have a video on how to add the registration points to your platen?
Hi Cam,
I've been wondering for a while now, as I learn more about screen printing, is there a size relationship between the size of the palette and the size of the screen? Do you use the same size screen all the time, so that the preceding steps of palette (16"x20") and artboard (15"x19") can be locked in? Thanks for all the useful info you've been providing.
Cheers, Luke
really curious why the font didnt seem to get applied on the paste. Thats kinda weird. I would definitely check "Highlight Substituted Glyphs" in that doc preset you made, also make it a template file, so you cant accidentally save over it
see you went 7 3/4 not 7 1/2 for center,,,, then corrected. Yes I saw that lol thanks for this
I seen that shirt somewhere. Did you get that shirt from an Islander?
btw I subbed and liked haha keep the videos coming, Im learning a lot
Yea AUKU it's a local company by they are starting to blow up here in AZ.
Ups … the typography is gone while copying the art.
btw … thanks for your tutorials
Greetings from Germany … Marten
Make sure nothing is locked on any of your layers. Expand every layer and make sure the lock icon in not on.
Good to meet you Marten.
i mean the style of the typo in the original artwork an at the new layer in your artboard. its not a big thing … but i saw it ;-)
