I like the spoken intro. Conor's songs make so many fans feel less alone, so the feeling is mutual. He just expresses his feelings so much better than I ever could.

Isn't that the only thing that is uniquely yours? Your experience? I mean i know. I know you got your head filled with stuff too. It was frankly intuitive but I never seem to find anyone except conor who isnt even a real friend but its like we cry and get drunk and high together so does it really matter whos guitar your playing around a bondfire with a broken neck guitar like da godamn acoradorian. Who gives a tin whistle if you own half a garbage heap. It all comes to fruition when the good lord takes a break from torturing the intelligence right out of the black hole in your mind. As you grow up there’s so many things that you’re taught to keep hidden or keep inside yourself. I’ve been making songs pretty much the same way since I was like 12 years old. There’s something inside you that you want to express, and there’s a hope that someone will be on the other side of it to receive it, you know. I think it’s good to feel like your experience isn’t completely unique.
Anyone want to share their thoughts on the courtroom dream he references?
Darrin Davis probably one of the more powerful lines on the whole album given what happened to him
@@MalachiMcNeill I also thought it was about the woman that accused him of rape but then again, if I'm not mistaken, I don't think the case ever went to trial. If someone knows please correct me if I'm wrong.
Anyway, the fact that he sings " no it was not me but I'm the one who has to die " implies that it's a man on trial for murder.
