@@carlosq00 Picked it up shortly after I commented, I have owned it for a month now! It's crazy how good it is price to performance. 10 years ago this would've been priced 3-5x times more
Thanks for the overview. Cheap monitors usually don't have HDMI 2 version, so that means, they are not capable of 4k60 output from camera, so you should probably set HDMI output to 1080p anyway. Have you tried 4k60? And what about viewing angles? If you look to the monitor from angle, how are the colors? Aren't they washed out? Thanks.
This little monitor can accept a 4K 60p signal from the camera, check out this short I made in response to your comment. ua-cam.com/users/shorts0_tynMh8rls
I believe this monitor is a myth. Available at the end of May?? It’s July now. It has yet to appear on anyone’s marketplace. Too bad. Seems like it would’ve been a good one.
Seems like the Viltrox 550 pro is a much better value monitor. -1200 nits -Also touchscreen -Comes with battery -Comes with sunhood -Thinner bezel -Cost similarly PS: Monitor such like this should have anti reflective coating, much like watches sapphire glass that has anti reflective coating on the inside so it doesn't scratch.
I just got over the weekend and I love it. I used for just stills on my canon Eos R camera.
that's great!
This has got to be one of the best and clever overview videos out here.
Instant sub!
thank you
Thanks! You brought out the most important thing in a monitor review - (Accurate) colors!

Thanks for the video...just what i wanted to see
You're welcome

I'm new to monitors. What would I need to power this? Can I plug this into a power bank? I noticed a battery on yours. Thanks!
You are able to power it through a barrel connector and battery.
Can you mirror the screen on your camera so you can see aperture and everything on your camera monitor on the monitor? Thank you
yes, you enable that from the camera menu
Can you compare it to the Viltrox DC-550 PRO
I don't own that monitor
how would you compare this to the Desview r6?
I haven't used or see a Desview monitor so I don't know.
Can this monitor 4K 60 footage?
yes ua-cam.com/users/shorts0_tynMh8rls?si=-4YRU14rVYFMoGxd
How is this against the Viltrox 550 Pro?
I don’t follow. Can you explain?
@@carlosq00 compared to the 550 Pro what would be some of the reasons to go for this one or why would someone choose the 550 Pro over the Lilmon 5
anybody found a good hood for it?
