ROB, can you please explain to me why Americans say "let's see if we can't catch fish"? That to me is Double Dutch, meaning cabt catch means won't catch. It bugs me when it's said as "can't catch fish" as apposed to " I'm going to try andbcatch some fish" or "let's see if I can catch fish". Can't is a negative connotation, can is a positive.
The elephant nose fish is not known as the dolphin fish as they are 2 different species from the same family of fish. The dolphin fish does not have the long beak and actually looks more like a dolphin.
🎉🎉🎉 RobsAquatics I was talking to my brother and Uncle who work at a nuclear power plant and they say if you can find any type of power plants don't matter what type fish those Creeks cuz they stay warm year-round😊
Do have a waterproof Gopro style camera? If so, I think it'd awesome if you lowered the camera into some of your tanks. It would offer a really cool perspective. Thanks for the great content.
Haven’t been on for a while, but I have to say that I do like the haircut Rob. The one that you said, you didn’t know what it was as a type of elephant nose. At the moment can’t think of the correct name.
That’s a brown knife fish they stay small don’t get anywhere near the size of any other knife fish they get up to 6-8 inches I believe full grown. 9:04
Knife fish Are not aggressive in anyway they are extremely well mannered easy-going get along well with anyone you just have to worry about somebody eating them same with the elephant nose, fish and of course you by she was doing great in there another pretty easy going monster predator fish that can practically go with anyone
Rob I want a iridescent shark, so bad, but I can’t find them down here where I live they are like almost unheard of, and impossible to find. Send me some?😢😢😢😢
If you were in north florida and sold fish u'd have made like $200 off that alone, elephant nose fish, clown knife, and iridescent sharks espically the albino one
You often say:" Oh!!! here's another beautiful fish,..." but you don't really give us time to see them well. Seing them in close-up for a few seconds wouls make your videos more interesting, especially for people who don't know these fish,...thank you
Sorry for my ignorance I suppose, but I live in Australia and with all my health issues I don’t get out that much so I’m curious what the heck a water bug is??? Before people get going about how ignorant I am yadda yadda yadda please remember that I live in AUSTRALIA and watching these videos is how I get outside, so please don’t hate on me too much!!!
@@RobsAquatics oh wow!!! I’ve only ever been stung once I’d hate to be stung by one of those mofo’s then!!!! (Cheers for not blasting my non-knowledge of them like a couple of other UA-camrs have!!!!! Love the videos that you and captain K put out here!!!)
The Clickbait is so stupid, that is not a sewer because if there was just open sewage, running through the canal, the place would be shut down! It’s a canal for excess water as in rainwater, not sewage.
I had some big Ghost shrimp in my lakes for a couple years. But just as fast as the appeared they disappeared. I still have some in my aquariums though.
Used to have a few, great fish not overly aggressive towards other's likes to hide in pipes like the knife fish, I used to feed them brine shrimp or bloodworm they we're never keen on pellets although would eat them from time to time. Hope this helps m8.
Sorry for the late upload, a lot of hiccups along the way recording this one!
Get...a...post...office....box. Score massive giftage!!!!! Again, not too close to home.

The fish are scared enough when you scoop them up and then you just toss them back. Why not take better care putting them back.
