Love the bling bling paint job that really suits the great work the students did! And thanks for teaching them to take the time to make sure things are serviceable!
I have a suggestion to access the front of the engine to change raw water impeller and belts. I owned a 2015 27 Ranger with Volvo D-3 200 HP. Access to the front of the engine was gained by removing a panel on the front of the step inside the cabin. This WAS NOT acceptable. One would have to crawl in arms first and shove head and shoulders under the step. Almost impossible. I learned from several owners on the Ranger Owners group; Tug Nuts a better way. I cut away most of the top of the fiberglass step leaving a 3/4 inch margin around 3 sides. This opened up complete access to front of engine after interior panel was removed. I then made a wooden "step" to screw down onto the fiberglass margin. I don't know why Ranger didn't do this from the start. You're all doing a great job on this project. What a fantastic program you have since 1968.

Many thanks! We've been thinking about that now that the engine is bolted down. Do you have a photo? I can also search TugNuts
