I've recently subscribed to your channel and have learned so much from you in a short time. I am toying with the idea of retiring in Mexico, so I'm looking for safe and affordable options. Thank you so much!
I want to become a remote notary and move to Mexico, but I want to visit family in Florida occasionally, this seems like it is close enough to the gulf to fly back cheaply, but is quite, safe and budget friendly, thanks for doing these videos, all the other content is prepandemic and I'm sure pricing has changed, it would be nice to live a comfortable lifestyle and not be paycheck to paycheck
I really enjoyed your video. Can you please do more videos on finding rental accommodations? I was thinking about Panama but am so impressed with Merida that I am onsidering Mexico as a winter retirement destination. Thanks!
I live comfortably in Merida Mexico on $ 500 USD per month. Rent $ 325 dollars. Electric $ 30 dollars. Phone $ 10 dollars. Water is free, Wi-fi is free, cable is free. Food $ 100 + . I’m a retired BM been here 2 years. Benito Juarez Norte Area.
@@MoTheTravelingJamaican I go the parks, Centro, Progreso Beach, Malls. A lot of people go to the malls on the weekends, also movies 🍿 and bicycle 🚴 riding around.
Mexico is the top Latin nation and economy. They are a blessed nation and will be a future super power. Buy property if you can afford it cuz Merida will be a prime real estate amongst melanated folks. You got in early.
You should make a video and how much it cost to rent a car or how much it cost to buy a car there and also make a video if foreigners can open business over there
Thanks a great deal for this awesome video 👏. Please can you do a video on private school for kids in Merida? Planning on moving down with my kids and wife from Canada but have not been able to figure info on schooling options/cost for kids in my dream home Merida Mexico 😊
Young gal caan hang😂😂😂, Jamaican travelers, world travelers, great video of the city, informative and eye opening, will put on list of places in Mexico to live.
How much did they want for the one you showed at the end? It was pretty run down but large...good location though... Thanks for showing the house, airbnb and streets :).
Thank you for a great chanel. My wife and I like to retire in 18 month from the USA for the same reason you guys seems to have had. Question how far is it to the nearest beach? Or beaches?
Did you need someone to co-sign with you for your rental? I watched another video where they said you wouldn’t be able to rent without a co-signer who lives and owns property in Mexico already OR without a notary.
thats called an aval here, if you don't have one you pay a second deposit which is what i did so renting here is quite expensive as you need your rent, your deposit, your second deposit and then you have to pay for the contract to be done which can be a next rent again! but mine was half the rental amount
Hi. Do you home school your daughter? I would like to travel, I went to Africa last year on a three month visa. I just would like my boys to attend school. Please let me know you thoughts on this, thank you for a good video.
Hey there. My daughter attends a school in Jamaica that offers online classes. Thanks to that we can travel at any time and still connect to her education
In Mexico so very hot daytime people are in & evenings the streets are stime overflow. But during the day I never go out w/out a hat, sunscreen, long cotton sleeves. 😞😏In 2 days my skin tun charcoal.2021-22☹️😄😄
I have been coming to Mexico for 60 years.I retired to Queretaro at 79, and I love this safe , cool weather, furnished and all utilities. A maid and security is included. The electric bill will be super high in \merida, and super ants, mole, and big mosquitoes. I order my groceries online for home delivery. I have local friends, who have cars, and they bring what I need, I rent month to month and no deposit, Everything is included.
Hi 😊🌺thanks from a viewer from Ontario Canada. I am Marie looking to go to Marida this winter. Unfortunately i can not get any specifics from the youtube videoes. What part of Merida are these houses for sale, or rent, the airbnb. No need for specific addresses but a general idea of the where about would be appreciated. 🙏🌻
Hi Marie 😊 this was in montes de ame area a very nice neighborhood in Merida. We are moving to San Antonio cucul which is so nice too! That video is coming up next week so stay tuned!
I found your content confusing. Your wandering around giving out no specifics. When people are thinking of relocating from another country they are trying to get an idea of what is available and what it costs. Perhaps watch some content of others reviewing other cities, it might help

It’s not cheap flying from Merida but if you fly from Cancun you’ll be good that’s the only downside about Merida

I can’t wait to visit up there

do you happen to know an agent who can assist a foreigner?
Not personally. I think your best bet is searching on Facebook marketplace like I did. You’ll see loads of properties there from agents
Where are all the people???
We were the only ones crazy enough to be out walking in that heat 😁
They are here in America 🤣😂😂
