This is beautifully edited! I love the parallels in this and the way you connected certain scenes w/ Kara and Alex's conversation. If only Lena would see how much Kara defends her and the lengths she goes to protect her. I'm still waiting for an episode where she SEES the proof in front of her eyes and then she would know how much Kara truly loves her and that their entire friendship wasn't a lie. Of course it's understandable why Lena is deeply hurt and feels betrayed given that Kara withheld her identity for three years but it also shows why their relationship is deeper than mere friendship because she wouldn't be this hurt and shattered over the betrayal if she didn't love her. But yeah I hope eventually they can make amends and slowly rebuild their trust in one another. Hopefully when that happens they can get to a better place in their relationship again and it will leave room for growth. Again this edit is wonderful and you did a beautiful job w/ it!
Well I think you just summed it all up perfectly hahaha. I think the main thing is that the timing has been off. They need to have a conversation when there isn't anything else going on (pulitzer, myriad, crisis) because to Lena right now, it seems like Kara is just saying whatever she needs to to get Lena to stop her project, and not because Kara actually cares about her/their relationship. I'm also waiting for a scene where Alex talks to Lena and tells her everything Kara has done for her/said about her over the years to help her recognize that Kara's intentions were always true. We'll see how things change because of this Crisis reset tho 👀Thanks for the kind words about the video :)
@@fateandthefury Lol yeah I guess I have a way w/ words. I totally agree w/ everything you said. Yes the timing has been off and they haven't had a proper time to talk things out openly and honestly w/ so much going on. Hopefully w/ 5A behind us, we can get a scene where they're alone and they can talk, although I'm a bit intrigued yet perplexed w/ this whole Crisis reset and wonder how things will turn out for them. YESS we definitely need that scene between Alex and Lena so the latter could get a better understanding from Kara's side of things. I most definitely want Lena to find out that Kara defended her fiercely to everyone in 2x12 when they all doubted her, also when she still defended her in 5x08 and more importantly for her to find out that Kara risked her identity to save her in 3x12. @@asiamarques4341 Hahah if only we could have an extended scene of lena finding all those things out. We just need lena to know that kara truly cares about her as much as she cares about kara. Yeah i'm excited to find out just how much lena remembers and what that means for them in 5B. But this could still go a hundred different ways so i'm also wary lol
@@fateandthefury Lol wouldn't that be amazing if she did? I can envision that scene now and Katie would sell it beautifully without any dialogue just from her facial expression alone, kinda like when she portrayed Lena's shock, disbelief and devastation over finding out that Kara is Supergirl from Lex. Yeah Lena needs to know that Kara does truly care for her as much as she does and I'm sure eventually she will. It will probably take something major happening from Kara's end that will get her to realize it. I'm excited as well but also cautious and wary for what's to come in 5B lol. Hopefully things will work out for them.
@@asiamarques4341 yeah just a subtle change in expression the moment she starts to believe in kara again is all i need. lena genuinely believing that kara was never honest in their friendship hurts me lolol but i know they'll come back stronger after everything

This the key (IMO) to understanding Kara's motivations re not telling Lena her secret identity.
But not in the obvious way---not telling Lena, so Lena wouldn't get pissed off and break the friendship (as in fact happened, all that long S5).
No, it's subconscious for Kara: she didn't tell Lena, in order to "keep her as a friend." Holding her at arm's length, not letting her all the way in . . . _because she was terrified to have Lena become MORE than a friend!_
But I think that, the more she tried to "keep Lena as a friend", the more she revealed that Lena HAD in fact become more than a friend.
Onward to 6B, and Supercorp Endgame! ❤️❤️❤️

Oh my, Lena has betrayed her too, used her, and covered her kryptonite invention, and blame her of betrayal, but Kara still forgives her. If Lena knows that, she will forgive Kara too. Perhaps one day....
She didn't know Kara was Supergirl plus isn't it's logical to create a weapon in case one go haywire like batman did for his own suit. Especially when we don't know what the Kryptonian is, it's personality and everything hence the paradox of hidden identity. So what Lena did was human like, why should Supergirl be spared of having no weapon able to kill her? When humans do have tons of weapons that can kill them instantly.

oh that hurts so bad. people forget sometimes; we see lena needs kara, but we forget that kara also needs lena. they can't be independent of each other. i mean look at what's happened. they _need_ each other so much and i think people forget sometimes that kara is just as vulnerable as lena when it comes to her emotions.

@@fateandthefury thank you, yes! i feel like that's something a lot of people tend to forget but it's so so important to remember! we always see that lena needs kara and is dependent on kara but we forget that kara is just as dependent on lena and even a year later, all she did was talk about lena every day.
i absolutely agree, sometimes the show makes it seem like lena needs kara more than the other way around but like you said, kara needs (and wants) lena in her life just as much as lena needs kara in hers. when they work together they make each other better on any earth, in any alternate universe
@@fateandthefury yes, thank you! they really do bring out the best in each other and without kara, lena would be someone completely unrecognizable (as we've seen) and not just because of the physical. kara pushed lena to be good, stayed with her, convinced her even when everyone else was pitted against her. they make each other so much better and without each other, the world would be a completely different place

To Kara, Lena means everything. Lena is her Sun. Lena is one of the 3 humans. That give her a connection to her humanity. The 2 humans that mean everything to Kara is her mom Eliza and her sister Alex. Then met Lena and then Kara's whole world changed. Lena became her touchstone her humanity and her true love. Her perfect game night partner. Kara loves Lena same as to Clark loving Lois. The people they would risk everything for. Just like when Lena was willing to sacrifice the world to get Kara back from the PZ. And with Kara and Clark being the last Kryptonians of the house of EL. Being the two strongest offworlders on is hard and the same with the responsibility of protecting Earth. That is why Lena meaning everything to Kara. As is the same with Clark with Lois. Other then their human family and their true loves. Know one understands that even when they are at odds with their loves they will never give up on them. Kara and Clark loves are complicated. One with Clark and General Lane. As with Kara with Lillian and Lex Luthor. Two families that hate and not trust offworlders. And with this with Kara and Lena now. They maybe as odds and also in love with each other. Is making things harder. And Alex doesn't understand. I don't think she understands not until later with Lena wanting to get Kara back from the PZ. To see that Kara and Lena have been in love with each other for a long time. They both either put their feelings in little boxes that Lena does. Or just buried them that with Kara. Sorry for being so long.
