It's what Leo does. Without the scream then it's just like any other cover. He's an excellent multi-instrumentalist and has about 400 covers on his channel. He has 4.4 million subscribers and is worth about $3 million so he must be doing something right. I don't like Death Metal, but I like him. He's funny and doesn't scream all the way through the song. 😀🤘

Yeah pretty much. I never heard Africa until Leo. Listened to the original after hearing his cover. I was amazed I actually liked the original. In a weird way just listenable. I do prefer the cover though. It's on my playlist alongside Lena and Tatiana.
Just noticing nothing more. An acquired taste I guess. But the thing is.. a lot of those songs he covers I've never heard. Always have to go check out the original. I hate wap omg that song is just insulting to women overall. But I love his cover! I jam his cover! It's soooooo much better even though I hate the lyrics. At least he made it sound good 🤭

Bro, I loved hearing your take on this. For me as a man, this song DID need the scream. It totally changes the meaning of the song. Adele (with her eternally angelic voice) sang a song that's meant to be listened to after a breakup and a gallon of ice cream. Leo sang it in a way that's like, "Hey, I tried to make this right. But if you're gonna act a fool, then f-you because I tried my best and I'm still strong even though you ghosted me."
You can't really go wrong in your next choice, he literally has something for every vibe. He's got ballads, bangers, rap covers, country n bluegrass covers, pop songs, songs from every decade, Halloween songs, Christmas songs, and even a sea Shanty lol

Personally, I like this better than the original, but I also like metal. It's not for everyone though. Definitely keep digging, try Africa, Dance Monkey, and Sultans of Swing.

Try "Blinding Lights" by Leo Moracchioli. He doesn't scream to bad in that one...Heck my kids who range from 6-18 like Leo's version of that song more then the original.

You may not feel he needed to scream but Adele herself loved this cover enough to call him and asked to do a duet of this song with him. You can check out that version on his YT channel. Maybe you should come up with a production and cover that's better. ✌
A lot of Leo's versions of songs have become new favorites for me. Might I recommend checking out his version of Row, Row, Row Your Boat, if you haven't already.
Please try leo singing sultans of swing. I like that one way better
His vocals are layered. He sings clean and screams then mixes it together on the chorus. It makes for an interesting (not quite death metal) chorus. Also you gotta realize that this is in fact a metal cover. Not meant to be in the same key or go with the same vocal flow of the original.
Bro, I was the same way. I didn't necessarily hate screaming but at PARTS not entire songs. I was born in '85 so I listened to Z100 and watched TRL, did the whole east coast west coast thing then my friend introduced me to Rammstein and Atreyu in the early 2000's. I fucking hated Atreyu but like the musical aspect and after a week or so I was hooked. I still listen to pretty much every genre but I love metal. It's especially satisfying actually seeing and hearing how much talent they actually have, you don't get that in every genre. Like Leo here, he did everything but that solo, that's talent.
I hope you check out more of Leo's covers. They are. in my experience, great productions and a lot of fun. I would recommend "The Sultans of Swing" and "Dance monkey". I liked this reaction, glad he grew on you, I'm sure if you give him a chance, he will grow on you even more!
The scream adds the power of the emotion, it's a switch. The original song has an emotional tone to it, but Leo amplifies it and gives it a whole different emotional impact. Instead of not liking something and leaving it at that why not try to change your perspective and ask yourself what emotion is he trying to introduce and judge it by that? Its obvious its not the same emotion Adele was trying to achieve which is what you were judging his performance on.

I'm glad to see you on leo moracchioli, I've watched all your home free videos and love your channel,but I hate that this song is the first song everyone requests from reactors, please give leo another chance and do " blinding lights" or WAP or " bad habits" he did hello a couple yearscago and has evolved and gotten alot better since then. And the screams and growls are part of what make it metal. Leo is a great singer, but Adele he is not, so makes up for his lack of powerful vocals with powerful screams and growls. He started this with one video, that was just meant to showcase his studio skills, that went viral while he was asleep lol.

It was in an "LOL" point of view from me...you're listening to a guy that screams when he sings most of the time. And there can be bad reactions. Not saying you did one...that's why I said JK. But I have seen reactions where it was so generic and they basically played the song with no intent on giving an honest opinion, but rather make their fans happy, it's disingenuous, and a lot do it.
