I think it's too late for me, for a significant number of years I was waiting upon my father to find me a righteous Muslim man, as my father would frequent the local masjid. I never was vocal about this concern in wanting my father to try and find me potential suitors due to my shyness. Now many years have passed, and I feel extreme constriction in my heart, as all I see is this metaphorical 'wall' that I am close to hitting. Even when there were potential brothers suggested to me, I would reject them thinking that they wouldn't be to my fathers liking. As I didn't want everyone or anyone sitting in front of my father. I have now just decided in not asking my father to assist me, and only Allaah can help me out of this situation, and Allaah is the one who should be asked and begged. I'm 38 soon to turn 39 inn shaA' Allaah. When I was younger, I hoped to have many children, but I think it's too late for me now. I'll be patient and keep in asking Allaah, as I have good thoughts of Him.
my dear sister, continue as you are in having good thoughts of Allah and never give up from the mercy of Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala,a Allah is too shy to return the hands of supplicating slave empty, ask and ask and ask Allah for a righteous husband ! There are pious men out there who would marry a righteous woman even if she were older than you, poorer than you, less beautiful than you. But do not lose hope and do not despair, may Allah aid you and keep you steadfast and provide you with a pious ,loving husband and happy healthily children as he answered the call of his slave zakariyya at old age . Allahuma Ameen
Al hamdulilah a very beneficial lecture even though been divorced for along time. Subhan Lalah how we could have done things differently. At least now we can support our fitness n families who need this sort of advice n lectures from authentic and learned scholars Allahuma Barik. 🌺

When scholars come to UK, shamsi (when he attends) sits down among the students and listens to the lecture as the senior students of knowledge translate for the scholars. the vids are being posted on DUSDawah but that doesn't necessitate he has to sit next to the Shaykh and translate. May Allah bless you
