What we have ngong is tribalism ideology..All the governors chosen in kajiado systematically ignore developing infrastrucure in Ngong, kiserian and rongai. They always claim those towns are full of outsiders! ati watu wa kiambu na kisii na wamejaa so they rather take development in deep maasai towns...I think best option is to have a non maasai governor...Atleast those 3 town will get the development they deserve.
Thanks. Ngong roads are terribly narrow and bumpy with dirty streets that even driving is quite a challenge. You've done a great video, that Suswa road is beautiful.
As a fast timer, I cannot subscribe at once. I have to watch two or three videos from this channel to be convinced enough. Instead of complaining, you should appreciate it that at least someone spent his/her time here😊
Thanks for covering my home town area ngong- kibiku- kimuka- ewuaso kidong- suswa road. Its a new road though some parts not completed 2018 by crbc for Sgr tunnel construction.back then it was very dusty and rugged but now the new road has made transportation easier most parts are now accessible, lands have appreciated in value and other developments👍
this is how that road is i started using the road when it was more tough than now, @ Otenyo perspective , you should have followed the toyota crown it was more shorter to join narok road, but thanks you have covered the route the raw way big up for that👌👍👍
Lovely ride and thanks for this info which should help in planning logistics. I whish you could provide info on 1) major landmarks (including the small towns), 2) the reading on the speedometer to indicate how far it is now that the timing is 79 minutes, and 3) the approximate distance of the rough patches. Otherwise super job. This road seems very important in the security of critical infrastructure - railway line (SGR) and the power transmission lines. There should be a lobby to keep it in very good motorable condition.
Nice one.....good content. I love the background instrumental. It made me miss home. On a lighter note, hide personal car plate numbers....for your own good.
I like experiencing new routes road trips but am afraid of our Kenyan roads, I mean imajine driving for the first time in unmarked road not even bumps sign anywhere on site😢
Good insight bro...my thoughts, if one has a car with low ground clearance, its better to keep off if its at night or during the rainy seasons.. Also one has to watch his speed cause the road is unmarked and has very tight corners.
I cannot advice anyone using footrubishi to use the route, You will have to depend on world fruits and water is scarce..... The walkers please use the mai mahiu road kuna stopover za maji na bites here and there.
What a terrible road from Ngong town through Kibiko and on to Suswa and this is the year 2024 🤔! The last time i drove through there was in 2018 and no improvement! Otherwise from then on i have just been reaching around Zambia stage and back to my destination!
Since 1990s the roads have been pathetic ! no one cares about ngong, kiserian and rongai...i guess the residents should never vote in maasai leaders..They intentionally ignore those towns because according to them, outsiders are the inhabitants so they rather take development to kajiado town and Isinya
Hello Sir, am watching from Kigali, rwanda. Could you next time show the trading centers or key landmarks you are passing through so that we can also google maps to show us the route
Btw,might u be related to otenyo nyamaterere, the famous kisii warrior who fought the British occupiers of kisiiland?hakuna plots for sale along that road? distance
Ngong town ROADS is terrible, sooooo terrible, look at it even too narrows....where the city officials on this town??...They're sleeping or they've stolen the Monnies???.
Bro, doest it cost you anything to just keep some distance?? You don't keep so close to another car on a rough road. You can easily crack the windshield
Here is the trick the contractor does the easy parts and he is paid and instead of finishing he starts another more lucrative undertaking and the genesis of corruption is born because those parts of the road might never see the light of completion.
The roads of Ngong town are pathetic....Do the people there pay taxes...!?. Secondly, are they kenyans..!?. Its like they are not kenyans and they don't pay taxes🤣🤣 Or may be they're not shareholders of the KK government 😅
My fren relax it's only that small part from ngong town to kibiku junction that's it's rough tembea estates roads most are tarmacked again this ngong suswa road it's new 2018 you can imagine back then during saitoti and sakuda time it was dusty, thanks to crbc Sgr tunnel that facilitated the raod to be tarmaced
Thanks everyone for the love! We are on the road to 1000 subscribers. We can make it happen. Hit that subscribe button 😊
how many Kms from Ngong?

You've done a great video, that Suswa road is beautiful.
Nice one.
Thanks!
Good stuff . Well done
Much appreciated
It was more of a detour than a short cut. Safe journey!
I know. That's no longer an option if you were actually travelling.
The instrumentals are waaoohh. Nice n clear video. Maimahiu road kwaheri.
Wah!!! I enjoyed those instrumentals 🎼🎶, all the way...🎺🎷 🥰💃
Awesome!
Thank you. This is the best coverage of Suswa Rd. I've always wanted this video. Now I know.
You are welcome!
I like road trips, this is promising, cheers guys
We nime watch kuona kama utapita hiyo crown.
Tena naona Toyota V8. Waah its nice watching.
Next time you can try and branch off at the junction where the Crown turned to. It’s a very short and smooth stretch to the main Narok road
It's a very nice road once completed, Very scenic.
20k people have watched this so far. How I wish they could have subscribed.

Nice information
the playlist iko top
Asante!
Nice video. I enjoyed.. Just one more comment, when behind a vehicle for a long time try to obscure the plates
Noted. Thanks!
Good advice though the vehicle plates is public info in my humble opinion. Good video quality
I don't think it's necessary, you would have seen the plates if you were there.

True !
Those crowns are fast and very comfortable.. look how it’s wafting.
Na hiyo probox?
I'm surprised at the big SUV drivers going so slow on the terrain those vehicles were designed for.
Nice one bro
Nyce music 🎵 bro ghakii😂😂👊👊👊 tatubora
Kenya is so beaautifuul it is therapeutic...pity many never get to do this....all in the hands of Ruto!
It really is!
Nice trip
this is how that road is i started using the road when it was more tough than now, @ Otenyo perspective , you should have followed the toyota crown it was more shorter to join narok road, but thanks you have covered the route the raw way big up for that👌👍👍
Is that route that The Toyota crown used good.
I desire to use the road but naona inashtuwa na potholes.
Thanks for the video, I've always wondered if it was a viable option, to take that route now I will make a more informed decision..
Wiser now. Not a bad option for small cars if dry. Thanks @otenyo perspectives

Thanks for insights! Will keep it in mind for the next videos.
a nice one. when will they complete the remaining parts? I am eager to travel through there as Mai Mahiu sometimes is just unpassable. Nice article
Nice one.....good content. I love the background instrumental. It made me miss home. On a lighter note, hide personal car plate numbers....for your own good.
Watched and subscribed
Thank you ❤
@UnboxxingKate316 Thanks Kate.. one coming up this week.. Stay tuned!
This is very nice you have now show the people the shortcut and this road is avery nice one if it will be completed
Yearning for the time when the road will be fully completed to Suswa.
nice content bro from shooting editing videos quality 👌
Thanks !
Atoti cham thum Atoti miela miela🥰🎵
Great video, I would suggest an overview road map at corner of the screen
Thanks for the tip!
That road is open nowadays? Good trip
Yes it is open !
just subscribed
Thanks!
I like experiencing new routes road trips but am afraid of our Kenyan roads, I mean imajine driving for the first time in unmarked road not even bumps sign anywhere on site😢
Thanks for showing me this. I usually see Ngong direction from the other side when in Suswa. Do they have plans to tamack it
When u mention the name 'Suswa' echos of WRC1 Safari Rally sound loud in my memory.
I used this road in 1994, in a motorbike. After Ngong town it was all dusty to Suswa.
This is very good. I shall have to try this road some time. What car were you driving?
Thanks! I was driving a Subaru XV
You need to maintain better distance to the car in front of you. On a number of occasions you got unnecessarily close to the Crown.
Sawasawa boss!
Wah my golf haiwezi hii barabara
Jaribu.. but time hakuna mvua
Suggestion
👉🏾 1. It would have been nice to say where you were at major areas towns, Spots at road changes.
2. So many Kilometers traveled etc..
Thanks for the tips!
Good insight bro...my thoughts, if one has a car with low ground clearance, its better to keep off if its at night or during the rainy seasons..
Also one has to watch his speed cause the road is unmarked and has very tight corners.
Well said
Acheni izo guys, after watching subscribe.
12:30 I thought you were on the road trip with that Subaru ahead of you until it branched to the right 😎🤔! Kumbe ulikuwa man solo kwa msafara yako tu!
Haha yeah nilikua solo
I cannot advice anyone using footrubishi to use the route, You will have to depend on world fruits and water is scarce..... The walkers please use the mai mahiu road kuna stopover za maji na bites here and there.
😅😅 well put
That toyota crown ikiona tarmac is just disappearing
That is Kajiado, raise your concern to the Kajiado County Governor or public roads minister.
What a terrible road from Ngong town through Kibiko and on to Suswa and this is the year 2024 🤔! The last time i drove through there was in 2018 and no improvement! Otherwise from then on i have just been reaching around Zambia stage and back to my destination!

If i was that subaru guy and i see a vehicle behind me for quite sometime, i will be worried.
It's a shame that Ngong town has an MP, he should take care of the tarmac of that Town.
That's the work of KURA, although the MP should lobby for the roads to be tarmacked
I like how clear the sound is👌🏾 Which Mic are you using
DJI MIC 2
Hello Sir, am watching from Kigali, rwanda. Could you next time show the trading centers or key landmarks you are passing through so that we can also google maps to show us the route
I notice that most of the route lacks signage and road markings.
Noted. Thanks!
Kenyan roads need to be audited, what happened in that section that is not tarmacked and it could alternative to MaiMahiu
ungetufikisha kisii buana
Wewe ndio mgeni hio route, pitiable shamba and join Narok road.
Btw,might u be related to otenyo nyamaterere, the famous kisii warrior who fought the British occupiers of kisiiland?hakuna plots for sale along that road? distance
Haha yea he is my great great great grandfather. I think you can get plots there but you have to explore kwa ground
I would categorize that as an adventure route, I wouldn't dare use it if on a trip to the western region...
Tell us towns as you travel
Ngong town ROADS is terrible, sooooo terrible, look at it even too narrows....where the city officials on this town??...They're sleeping or they've stolen the Monnies???.
Thanks! Nimekupitia pia 🙂
Kajiado county has the potential but the politicians are just greedy.
Bro, doest it cost you anything to just keep some distance?? You don't keep so close to another car on a rough road. You can easily crack the windshield
Great content bro....Which camera are you using?
Thanks! Am using DJI OSMO Pocket 3
but it looks safer than mai mahiu and no trailers too
Don't forget to like, share and subscribe 😊
How many liters of fuel did you consume throughout the journey?
Around 6 litres
Short ct? It has really taken long! 1:09:36
If you want to avoid Mahi Mahiu traffic that is unpredictable
What type of camera are you using??
DJI Osmo Pocket 3
Btw, just HOW MANY HOURS did it take you from Ngong to Suswa?
So the video is not cut.. that makes it 1 hour and 20 minutes
Whose goats are those @3.40???😂😂
Is this a dashcam what brand is the camera?
DJI Osmo Pocket 3
Turn on your headlights in dusty areas
Noted!
Uko na gari gani coz mi nilitumia vitz nikarudi na hii njia
hapa nilikua natumia Subaru XV
which is mayumayu road.🤣
Thanks for info but not I will not use it until fully completely tamacked, if ever. Shameful that a road can be left incomplete like this.
Which vehicle are you using?
Subaru XV
What's your average mpg
@@luigiKnight222 Averages around 12km/l on normal city drives. On highways during long drives, I get up to 18km/l
That's actually pretty good for that fairy big car thanks.
@@otenyo which model year?
which car is this?
Subaru
No road marking? 😢
Imagine
How many kilometers is the terrible part from Ngong?😊
Arount 5 kms
Where does the road on the left at around 57:25 lead to?
To the main highway. Its much faster. I use that.
how long did you took
1 hour 20 minutes. The video is covering the whole trip as it is. No cuts!
ngong town and rongai roads are soo pathetic since the 1990s...No single politician bothers to repair or construct modern roads...
Here is the trick the contractor does the easy parts and he is paid and instead of finishing he starts another more lucrative undertaking and the genesis of corruption is born because those parts of the road might never see the light of completion.
How many km from Ngong to Narok
From Ngong to suswa is around 90km. Suswa to Narok is around 70km
The roads of Ngong town are pathetic....Do the people there pay taxes...!?. Secondly, are they kenyans..!?. Its like they are not kenyans and they don't pay taxes🤣🤣

Good idea!
