Vi only appeared at the end in prison wheres shes been since end of Ep3. The other girl was too small to be Vi, Jinx is just broken so saw Vi in that poor girl.
Yeah you even see the girl’s face changes from Vi (what Jinx sees) into the firelight’s actual face
Every time she was like "it WAS her" I was so confused. How many hints does the show need to give.
I'm really surprised by how many reactors are shocked at Heimerdinger's change of opinion towards Jayce's work. He's a scientist, his original objections weren't part of some moral view point, they were based on the scientific opinion that what Jayce was suggesting, controlling magic through technology, was impossible, because that's what all the evidence he had ever seen indicated. Part of being a scientist is being open to changing your opinions when presented with new evidence, such as the experiment in episode 3 which proved Jayce's concept to be viable.
Also, it's Hex Tech, not magic. It's an important distinction in this universe because straight up magic also exists, totally independent from Hex Tech, which is really just technology powered by magic energy.
The girl Jinx/Powder shot at the airship IS NOT VI. It's 7 years passed and it wouldn't make sense for a 23 year old Vi to stay looking like she's 16 year old. Jinx/Powder is also 18 and she clearly looks older than the Vi lookalike she shot.

bruh why do so many reactors think that’s Vi on the airship, are people just not paying attention? not only did the face change back to the other girl, it wouldn’t make sense for the show to kill Vi like that out of nowhere… I initially thought it was obvious what was happening based on how Jinx reacted but ig I was wrong
Plus why would Powder/Jinx age from 11 to about 18, while Vi stays looking like a 16 year old as she did 7 years ago? Because that's how Jinx remembers her.
@@demise0 I can understand people not immediately clocking that, but when they go for a whole episode being confused about it? That’s a bit much lol
It may be one of the only mistakes Fortiche made with this scene by not taking into account how strong first impressions sit with some people. The initial few frames were in fact that of the younger Vi as we were meant to see the reveal as Jinx initially saw it. It was meant to instill the same confusion she felt. But for some people that impression sticks harder and evidence to the contrary becomes difficult to accept. A better approach might have been a camera angle facing opposite when the girl was initially struck showing her true face before cutting to Jinx's POV and her perception of it so the audience understood the narrative confusion without being confused themselves.
To be honest I could understand being confused by the visual similarity of the girl, but there are following scenes which should make it obvious. Jinx talks to Silco about the "girl with pink hair" like she's a stranger, because it WAS just a random girl. That's obviously not how she would refer to her sister if it was *actually* her sister.
That wasn’t Vi at the beginning - too short, different hairstyle, scar on face, different color eyes - looked nothing like her (only looked like Vi at the very first second bc of Jinx’s trauma messed her up) We see Vi for the first time at the end of the episode in prison where she has been for YEARS bc Markus brought her there at the end of episode 3.
Also, Vi ain`t that weak which is how Powder/Jinx realized it wasn`t her.

Jinx made her own Mylo and Clagger to talk to, replacing the ones she 'lost'. Completely normal.
I`m glad literally no UA-cam commenter has ever experienced trauma or psychotic episodes. You totally don`t come off as unsympathetic dicks at all.(Sarcasm)
The time jump was about 7 years.
Powder/Jinx has mental issues, to many to describe.
The music that Jinx was listening is her own launch theme back in 2014, "Get Jinxed". I advise you to watch it after finishing the show because spoilers.
I admit, first time watching I briefly thought the Firelight Girl was Vi, too. But only until seeing the full-body shot (5:25) of the two of them, and Jinx clearly being the taller of the two.
Also, the girl is clearly confused by Jinx' reaction to seeing her.
Personally I think the time skip was 9 years

(6 years later)
Act 1:

Powder- 11
9 years later
Act 2:
Vi- 25
Jinx- 20
The time skip was 6-7 years, according to the writers

5:24 freeze frame that, not Vi. And the image of Vi Jinx imagines in her face is what her sister looked like 10 years ago. That was definitely not Vi. 12:!8 ... thats Vi, 10 years later.
